The nearest airport is Leeds Bradford International Airport, 39 km from The Sett on The Wharfe. Stayed there for three nights, working remotely until afternoon and then going hiking. There are a lot of nice hikes nearby - including a trail that starts just on the other side of the river. Car is necessary for access and for trails further away, but it's easy to find and has plenty of space to park. There are multiple dining options and a small grocery store just a short walk away. The place itself is lovely - beautiful peaceful location with amazing view, well kept facilities and delicious breakfast with enough options to try something new each morning. You can also meet local wildlife - birds, squirrels and local cats were frequent visitors on the balcony, deer and sheep wandering about in the distance. We also took a dip in the Wharfe, which I highly recommend to everyone who can handle the chilly water!

Very beautiful stay, frank was very helpful. The place was very lean and tidy. The main highlight was the hot tub it was just amazing .Wegot the beautiful snow too.Overall amazing place for couples. Morober there was lot of privacy. You are just in a different world!!!

A toaster and kettle are also available. It is one of the nicest places we have stayed, the staff couldn't have been any nicer, they were so welcoming! We had an 18 month old Labrador with us, she was made such a fuss off, very dog friendly. Food was lovely, it is such a cosy welcoming pub. The accommodation was lovely, nice little hamper left for breakfast and the bed was exceptionally comfortable and big! Great location for walking and visiting other towns near by.

Our stay in High Parks was great: the cabin we stayed at was very cosy and extremely clean. We appreciate Sean and Jenny's availability and kindness, and their welcome gifts. We used the barbecue cabin, a great experience which we definitely recommend! Looking forward to visiting High Parks again soon, a great place for a trip to discover Yorkshire!

Sorry we do not accept pets in our 3 person lodge or in the cottages. We do accept pets in all the other lodges. The photos didn’t do the justice it deserved, one of the best places we ever stayed at. The place is well looked after and a very cozy place. The communication with owners before the stay and during the stay was exceptional. 100% recommend!!!

Everything was perfect, the location, the lodge were great. Rachael the owner went above and beyond for our visit. It was such a lovely quiet location. The lodges have absolutely everything one could need and are fitted to a high standard.

The Shepherds hut is situated in a beautiful village, but having it within castle ruins just makes any stay there magical. We found ourselves having a cuppa at any time of day just so we can sit and admire the castle grounds. Tasha, Pat and Oscar (their pooch) are wonderful hosts and are very welcoming, most notably Tasha makes an amazing lemon cake which we thought was a fantastic personal touch. Pat gave us a lovely tour around the grounds and allowed us to visit the sound room, which again was beautiful. We cannot express how amazing the location is, beautiful, magical, full of history and character and the sunshine is the icing on the cake. Thank you for a lovely time! Jonny and Fran
