The welcome was warm and friendly and our room was spacious, comfortable and airy with a super big bed and generous sized shower room. The petits fours and coffee making facilities were a lovely touch. We enjoyed a glass of Champagne in the Frenchly chic and relaxing lounge area. The scrambled eggs at breakfast are unmissable! The garden was well equipped with a variety of chairs, and of course when the tides are high the sea is just at the end of the garden.

The apartment was well-equipped and perfectly adequate for our stay - not luxurious, but it wasn't advertised as being as such and was good value, given the exceptional location. At barely 40 minutes' drive from Cherbourg, a 5-minute walk to miles of Normandy beaches and a 5-minute drive to excellent boulangeries and grocers, it was an easy place to get away from it all very quickly.StevenSolo traveller
