Gorgeous location right on the marina within walking distance of restaurants and the few local shops. The welcome was warm and friendly and our room was spacious, comfortable and airy with a super big bed and generous sized shower room. The petits fours and coffee making facilities were a lovely touch. We enjoyed a glass of Champagne in the Frenchly chic and relaxing lounge area. The scrambled eggs at breakfast are unmissable! Definitely somewhere we would like to stay again.

The location was superb for walking into Carteret or down to the quay side and beach. the house was great - loved the pictures and posters in a sailing theme. the main bedroom on first floor with double bed, good shower room and toilet on the ground floor. two single beds in downstairs room with just a curtain for a door.

The location was superb and the area so tranquil for late summer/autumn. The close proximity to the beach was great. The garden was well equipped with a variety of chairs, and of course when the tides are high the sea is just at the end of the garden.

The view from the apartment, across the river estuary to the port of Carteret, was exactly as described - superb. The apartment was well-equipped and perfectly adequate for our stay - not luxurious, but it wasn't advertised as being as such and was good value, given the exceptional location. At barely 40 minutes' drive from Cherbourg, a 5-minute walk to miles of Normandy beaches and a 5-minute drive to excellent boulangeries and grocers, it was an easy place to get away from it all very quickly.

A lovely little hotel in a pretty location. The room was great with a large bathroom and walk-in shower. The best thing was the meal in their restaurant in the evening, which was superb. Would like to visit again.

small, quaint and shabby chic, close enough to the town centre but not too close for noise.
