Great location, very central to shops and restaurants and the arena. Ideal for a weekend break. The place was spotless and with two bedrooms and two bathrooms everyone was comfortable. Parking was an added benefit.

There are only 3 rooms in the building we stayed in, it was nice and quiet. There was a large wardrobe and the toiletries and towels in the bathroom were nicely presented, they had also provided a couple of boxes of tissues. We were pleasantly surprised to discover a small fridge with some drinking water in it and some fresh milk for the tea and coffee (the owner told us later that he supplies fresh milk because he dislikes UHT milk in his own tea and coffee). We stayed for 3 nights and had a superb breakfast each morning. I'm pleased I took their advice and booked an evening meal in advance, the restaurant is very popular. Our meal was so tasty that we booked for the following evening too, that meal was also extremely good. The staff were very welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. When I was originally booking the room I was concerned about the check-in time because we were going to a gig in Cardiff on the first night and wouldn't get to the hotel until well after the check-in time. However when I mentioned my problem they replied swiftly and arranged a self check-in which went very smoothly. Parking was nice and close to the entrance to the accommodation. We will definitely be booking again next year when we're back in Cardiff.

    This place is absolutely outstanding. I have been travelling around the UK staying at small BnBs and hotels, and arrived at this one to a room at least twice the size of any other room I have stayed in and a massive bed and luxurious surroundings. By far the best place I have stayed in on my trip and a real treat. The staff were amazing and the buffet breakfast was fantastic. I wish every hotel was like this one.

    The hosts were honestly 5 star! The communication was superb. questions were answered sometimes within minutes. The apartment was spotless. I cannot fault the attention to detail in terms of the cleaning. They have thought of everything we truly didn’t miss any of our home comforts as it was all provided for us. location was great for the city centre. Transport links nearby or a nice stroll if you fancy it.

    A perfect venue. We loved the balcony in our room with a beautiful view, watching the Swans and ducks coming out of the reeds first thing in the morning❤️the bed was very comfortable and gorgeous pillows too:) The Antipodes hand wash and hand/body cream in the bathroom was special too. Breakfast and lunch was 5 star and I’ve since been back for lunch there for my birthday treat as the food, service, dining room and the view is outstanding and very good value for money! All the staff are brilliant, they can’t do enough for you.

    Room almost perfect. The bathroom with some imperfections. Beside that, everything has been excellent. Breakfast superb for choices and quality of food. Exceptional for location and courtesy of all staff.

    The staff were extremely courteous and efficient. It made the stay so different from the Chain hotels. The food was superb - like Masterchef! I always say the mark of a good hotel is the quality of the full breakfast...the sausages and bacon and the fried egg, done exactly as I had asked, were fantastic!
