The Hotel is very clean and fairly new the children facility is very nice. The receptionist Borana was amazing and very helpful, she gave us very good recommendations for places to visit. They pay attention to the details and especially with issues related to kids. A daily bedtime story was printed and left in front of the door in the evening. My kids really enjoyed their stay.

A beautiful location at the tip of lake Garda, set in a stunning and tastefully restored former monastery, with a beautiful pool, spa and common areas. The high walls surrounding the gardens ensure privacy and quiet, but don’t block the view on surrounding mountains and the Arco castle. Breakfast included fresh local specialties, and staff were both friendly and helpful. Arx Vivendi is a truly wonderful location for a relaxing stay, or from which to explore the upper portion of Lake Garda, visit nearby Trento, Rovereto, or Bolzano, or take advantage of surrounding mountains for hiking or biking.

The location was also perfect, just an easy walk to the center, and just outside enough to have tranquillity. Just between hotel and the water there are nice beach, walking path and bike track. Hotel is clean, staff is proffesional, friendly and helpfull. Room was corect however a bit small. Breakfast was fabulous and perfectly served. I haven't used hotel's spa and wellness. I noted some disadvanteges but still this place is nice, food is perfect and location excellent. The hotel is rated 4 stars but I would give it something like 3.5 stars.
