Without air conditioning, the only way I could sleeping comfortably in the summer was with the balcony doors and windows open and the upright fan on. These two things made hanging out quite comfortable. The private balcony was superb. I wouldn't bring kids here, though. This isn't very kid friendly. Mostly for adults.MeganSolo traveller
