The rooms themselves are well-appointed, quirky, comfortable, and just easy to relax in. We needed to keep our bags at the property after checkout for many hours as we had tours planned and the hotel did not hesitate to accommodate us.

I'm so glad that we chanced upon Loma cottage during this stay. It is located in the very quiet corner on Bruny island, a few minutes' walk down to the sea and a few minutes' drive to the wine house where you can have lunch on weekdays and dinner on Saturday. The cottage is newly renovated and well very maintained. The room was sparkling clean and comfortable. The kitchen has got everything you need to make your own meal, there's also a microwave over, an oven there. You can enjoy the tranquility without sacrificing the modern comfort here. The hosts are super nice and helpful. We received a very detailed instruction letter before the arrival so guests can arrive prepared.

Maylands Lodge is a historic landmark property situated in the New Town area of Hobart. It is just an 8-minute drive from the city centre and the historic Hobart waterfront, including Salamanca... Beautifully furnished. Toilet was huge with a bathtub and all the required amenities! Would definitely return again!
