Right in the middle of Spreewald, you can rent a canoe on the spot and you are close to everything bike-related. Super quiet and peaceful, it was just what we needed.

Offering an outdoor pool, Kauperhof is located in Burg / Spreewald in the Brandenburg Region, 19 km from Cottbus and half an hour from Tropical Islands water park. We arrived at Kauperhof on a snowy day and it looked just beautiful. We were welcomed into the house and we even got a little welcome snack board with local delicacies, a very thoughtful gesture! As we went in December, a few bits of Christmas decorations were dotted around the main living space, which we really liked. The house is spacious and offers a lot of space to spend quality time with the family. The sauna was perfect and one of the reasons we went (pool was closed for obvious reasons). We didn't want to go to a busy spa hotel during a pandemic, but the sauna was used by one family at a time and disinfecting/cleaning products were available to clean before/after you have used the sauna to make us feel more safe. The breakfast (Broetchen) service was handy to as we didn't have to find a nearby bakery (also think it would have been quite a journey to find one that's open). The bedrooms all have proper shutters, so no light would get through (especially handy in summer) and beds very comfy. The kitchen was well equipped (plenty of glasses, cutlery, plates) and we appreciated that washing up liquid, sponge and dishwasher tabs were available. If you already bring food for breakfast etc. it makes a big difference. Overall, I would definitely go again.

Set in an historic building dating back to 1903, Spree Chalet is located on the outskirts of Lübbenau. The Appartment we have stayed was absolutely fantastic , we would never expected something like this , The Host Mrs. Knabe was so friendly and all went so well , we enjoyed every minute of our stay

Louisenhof is located in Burg in the heart of the peaceful Spreewald Biosphere Reserve. It offers a spa centre and country-style apartments with a kitchen and free Wi-Fi. Absolute perfect place to explore the Spreewald. Burg has everything you need in walking distance and the staff has great recommendations as well. The houses are really modern and nicely equipped, the terraces are great and it is fantastic that there is even a sauna

Located in Vetschau, Haus Jaeschke is a recently renovated accommodation, 27 km from Cottbus Central Station and 28 km from Staatstheater Cottbus. The apartment is very modern and extremely clean. The kitchen has everything that is needed for cooking, and the owners have thought of lots of things like coffee, tea, children's toys, etc. Parking is in the courtyard outside so extremely practical and safe. We were met there on arrival and were handed over the key, but it's also possible to get the key from a safe at the entrance. There was also some emphasis on sustainability, for example encouraging guests to use less water, only a small piece of soap was provided (enough for the stay, but not so much that a lot is wasted), trash is separated, and so on.
