The apartment is very nicely, generously and of high quality standards equipped with all the usual things you might need during your stay. In case of bad weather (we never had during last week August 2022) you have the choice of two huge TV-Screens in the living room and master sleeping room respectively, or a normal one in the kitchen for entertainment during your cooking. Especially, in the spacious kitchen all the normal kitchenware and much more are new and presented in a very attentive way. The newly renovated and decoratively furnished rooms come with more than sufficient space. We very much enjoyed the balcony on the back side, with an open view to the greens of the surrounding hilly gardens, entertaining goats restlessly climbing up and down the terrace walls, and the view to the city of Lons-les-saunier to the left and Jura hills with the medieval town house facades of Montaigu to the right. The landlord family living next door was discreet during our stay, as the apartment designation "L'INATTENDU" makes you expect. But, they did not forget to welcome us with a big piece of Jura Comté cheese supplied in the fridge. The owner couple purchased, restored and operate this lovely hotel and spa. They are both welcoming, professional and a pleasure to speak with following returns from adventures each day. The rooms are incredibly spacious. We were concerned we would not have anything to do and see in such a small town. Well, we ran out of time. The Tour de France passed through one day. There are incredible waterfall hikes, beautiful drives in the area and a quaint town nearby. We drove 30 minutes one day for a lovely wine tour. In addition, MZ offered a lovely breakfast with freshly squeezed OJ, wonderful coffee and freshly made pastries for 15 Euro. One of our favorite things at MZ was dinner. It offered one seating per night for all guests and a surprise four-course menu. We enjoyed dinner immensely two times. This place is romantic and also excellent for business meetings since it offers many tucked-away areas.

The proprietors did an excellent job of renovating the classic building. Very spacious. Very close to center of town. The proprietors were also very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
