This is not merely another property .. Elessa is the dream of Yanni its owner who is personally involved and present on the property. Every aspect right from reservations to ensuring pick up from the airport or port is promptly and warmly done. Elessa is a luxurious property in Pyrgos with a fantastic view of the sea. Pyrgos which was the capital of Santorini is a pretty village with character and some great food options. While the sunset from OIA is justifiably famous, we found the sunset view from the Pyrgos castle (15 mins walk from Elessa) to be stunning too .. Mike who works with Elessa to handle transport is very dependable and friendly … he has been six sigma in terms of ensuring we get picked up and dropped off on time everytime. We had the villa with hot pool and we throughly enjoyed our time at Elessa. Breakfast is very good too and wirh multiple freshly cooked options. Overall a lovely experience and we look forward to being back :)

What to say.....amazing stay. Staff is wonderful! Helpful, kind, efficient, always smiling. Well done! Rooms are spacious, private jacuzzi, clean and tidy, comfortable mattress and pillow. It is quiet area 10min walk to main street in Oia. If you wanna relax and forget things and be out of the city, that is a spot for you. Breakfast is very tasty (different options for eggs, amazing Greek yoghurt and honey, cereal, oats, bread etc) and it is delivered to your room; so you have all the privacy. They can arrange private chauffeurs to pick and drop you at airport. Around the corner is small minimarket for some cold drinks; fruits and snacks. A lot of restaurants near by. 10/10!!!

The location is up to a hill from where you have a stunning view of the island and sea. Far from the mess but easy for reaching all the focal points of the island in particular close to Kamari beach (less than 10 min drive). The place is super quiet and private. Everything is tailored on the guests and Vicky (the host) is always available for any need and has a lot of useful tips to help improve the stay. There are little details that help you feel like at home! The apartment is really tidy and the private pool outside is really a plus! We were there in mid October and used it, even if the water is not heated. And the breakfast, super one, served directly in your room (even if, fortunately, we had the chance to have it outside by the pool every day. So thanks to Vicky, Sokol and Anisa for having took care of us and left us wonderful memories!

We stayed in Pool Suite 3, everything was amazing. Lots of space and felt like home. We stayed in Santorini for a total of 10 days but the only availability at SantoRossa was for the last 4 nights of our holiday. The owner, Mrs Kalliopi, was so attentive - we even received pastries one morning and Magnums in our freezer another day. She was there to answer any questions we had whether it be about the property or what there is to do across the island. It’s clear to see she really wants all of her guests to have the best time. We’ve stayed in a lot of places but the attention to detail was beyond at SantoRossa. Definitely recommend hiring a car for staying here - it’s so easy to get about the island as only a 45 minute drive from top to bottom, however there are local bakeries, shops and restaurants all within walking distance. We look forward to coming back after we’ve had our baby.
