Great location(straight on Nanjing road), large renovated rooms (we recommend a suite), extremely helpful staff (special thanks to Amy from Canton disco restaurant and Mia from reception!). Hotel has several restaurants (we tried Canton disco - one of the best we ever tried!, as well as Punch bar and a rooftop bar with terrific view). Please choose this hotel too your stay in Shanghai!

Offering stunning views of Shanghai skyline, the gorgeous Regent Shanghai Pudong stands in Lujiazui financial district in Pudong New Area. The room with the Pearl tower view was so beautiful. The view, the room with so much space, the swimming pool and jacuzzi, the breakfast, the english speaking personnel always with perfect manners. The little détails in décoration like lamps, very good taste.

Peninsula Shanghai ligger rett overfor The Bund, en 5-minutters spasertur fra shoppingstrøket på gågaten East Nanjing Road. This is a beautifully atmospheric hotel that, for us, more than lived up to its reputation. It was my fiancée's birthday, and we were generously upgrade to a wonderful suite with spectacular river views. Gorgeous roses, chocolates and a birthday cake added the perfect finishing touch. The staff were all extremely professional and friendly throughout - especially Mr Danny Hu, who warmly welcomed us and introduced us to our suite, bringing a real personalised feel to our stay. Finally, breakfast in the impressive lobby was luxurious with excellent service.

The hotel is very beautifully done - modern in every way, but a step back in time to the early twentieth century as well. The pastries at the coffee shop downstairs are a fabulous treat and the concierges and front desk staff very helpful.
