Feels like living inside the jungle! The stuff of the hotel were super nice! Big thanks to the chef Pablo who was amazingly nice and made for us the greatest food! We will definitely come back :)

This is a true gem. One of the last of its kind. A beautiful, affordable, tropical mountain retreat in the rainforest with more trails than we could hike in the extent of our stay. The owners were amazingly accommodating and great at communication. The communal cooking facilities were excellent.

Besonders gefallen haben uns die folgenden Sachen: - großes, sauberes, behindertengerechtes Zimmer mit eigenem (natürlich ebenfalls behindertengerechten) Bad - leckeres Frühstück und Abendessen (günstig, original italienisch und frisch zubereitet) - das liebevoll hergerichtete Grundstück an sich mit der überdachten Aussichtsterrasse, auf der man gut Vögel beobachten kann (Tukane, rote Aras, Kolibris und viele mehr) - die Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber und der restlichen Dorfbewohner - die Lage direkt im Grünen und am Rande des Corcovado Nationalparks

Mit einem Garten und Bergblick, ist die Unterkunft Eden Corcovado gelegen in San Pedrillo, 10 m von Strand Playa Rincon und 2,4 km von Strand Playa San Josecito entfernt. Natur pur, Trail geht direkt neben Haus los (zu unserer Zeit waren dort Pumas unterwegs). Traumstrand direkt vorm Haus. Papageien, Tukane und ganz viele andere Vögel konnte man von der Veranda aus sehen. Wunderschöner Garten, ebenfalls mit vielen Tieren (mit Glück kann man einen Tapir sehen). Den Garten durften wir gleichzeitig als Obstladen benutzen. Nony ist ein herzlicher, aufmerksamer, intelligenter Gastgeber, der zu jederzeit für uns da war und uns wertvolle Tipps gegeben hat.

Location in the trees of the Costa Rican jungle, perfectly private, outdoor cold (but not too cold) shower under trees. Wildlife in abundance, from howler and spider monkeys in the trees above the cabin; to agoutis, leaf-cutter ants, various lizards and amphibians, crabs below it, plus stunning butterflies, toucans and scarlet macaws - one wonder after another. Christian is a kind, helpful, professional bilingual host, extremely knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, first-class tour guide and able to fix anything. Meals all prepared from fresh ingredients. My favorites were the breakfast fruits and dinners with avocados and freshly-caught fish. All staff was friendly and accommodating. It was the most peaceful, rejuvenating week I've ever had.

Die Unterkunft Kinkajoungalows - Amaya Family, Drake Bay, Osa Peninsula, von der aus Strand Playa Rincon in 0 m erreichbar ist, bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit Parkettböden, einem Garten, einer... This property is beautiful. I loved how it is right by beach, literally from my bungalow to the beach was a 1 minute walk. The rooms are spacious and clean, I loved the large front porch where you can sit outside and enjoy coffee or read and watch all the wildlife. This place is also run by a native tico family, and they make you feel like you are at home. There is a restaurant and bar on the property with great food and drinks!! You can grab a mojito and chill in the hammocks by the beach to watch the amazing sunsets. A little tip I would say is it bring cash because you will need it for boat rides and it’s better to pay for tours and food with cash to save some money on taxes. The WiFi is not the fastest speed but I was able to work completely fine from it. I would definitely recommend staying here, this place is absolutely gorgeous.

What a slice of heaven. Secluded yet safe in the jungle, this perfectly appointed house has all the amenities- comfortable beds, mosquito nets, great lounging areas and then.. the best of all.. a gorgeous pool where we saw monkeys playing overhead, not to mention the macaws and toucans. From the river side lookout deck we could watch the gold miners on their morning trek up the river searching for treasure. The grounds are beautiful with pineapple, avocado, lime and banana trees. Val and Ron are amazing hosts who made sure the Yeti cooler had blocks of ice to keep our food cold. Coming from the city it was incredible to realize how easy it is to live off the grid. The solar panels provided enough power to charge our phones and have light in the evening. We had amazing adventures walking to the nearby waterfall, walking up the river and exploring the Bolita trails. There are a couple of very cute and harmless bats in the guest bedroom who left each evening before we went to bed, returning home in the morning. The windows have no screens or glass so you really feel you are living in the jungle but there was a surprising lack of biting insects. This really is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the jungle- the best high end “glamping” I have ever experienced.
