Set on 350 acres of lush gardens overlooking a Mediterranean cove, Helnan Royal Hotel - Montazah Gardens features an outdoor pool and private seafront sun terrace. It is a historic landmark surrounded by King Farouk's palace from one side and El Salamlek Palace from the other side. The hotel witnessed scenes from a 100 different cinema movies during the 1960's and 1970's. The breakfast buffet at the morning terrace overlooking the bay is one of the best hotel's perks. Also the Italian restaurant which also has an awesome international menu is more than awesome. The fisherman soup was a great new discovery this time! Staff was very helpful everywhere.

It is prestigious antique and it’s location is excellent. I’ve very much liked the breakfast the Alexandrian local way. The chef served and suggested local dishes in a very impressive look and presentation. The food was so delicious and fresh. The elevator is magnificent. It is my first time to experience such antique elevator. I very much liked the environment consideration in the hotels operation. Looking at the Honor guests board and learning the famous persons who stayed at the hotel was fantastic.
