Great hotel in a great location right by the quay, but away from the busy part. Excellent staff led by Victor who was really helpful and amazingly for a French person, speaks quite a lot of Irish! Thanks Victor for a great few days in your lovely Hotel. Breakfast was perfect also.

Breakfast was generally good. More fruit would have been nice. Location on the village square was excellent. The main restaurant was superb.

Hôtel Le Sénéchal is located in the heart of Ars-en-Ré, next to Ars-en-Ré Port and 1.2 mi from Combe À L'eau Beach. This is a kooky hotel! Beautiful courtyards with lots of sitting areas amongst the flowering plants. The rooms are all different, comfortable and very attractive. The staff are very helpful. It was lovely coming in summer, now I’d like to return in a cooler month to use the fireplace in the room! Plenty of wardrobe / shelving space. Nice little pool and decking area.
