Crown and Anchor features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Marlborough. This 4-star hotel offers free WiFi. Stonehenge is 39 km away and Lydiard Park is 43 km from the hotel. The best part of our breakfast was being greeted and served by Marina. She understands the assignment and aces it every time. Marina is a rare gem! The food itself was very delicious. We shall most positively be visiting and staying with The Crown and Anchor again.

Really friendly hosts who could not have done more for us. The location close to the stone circles in Avebury was a bonus, as we had originally intended just a stop over on the way back to London.

Everything about this place was wonderful, bed comfy, beautiful linen, lovely bathroom, food tasty and so much history. Staff were great. Pictures didn't do it justice, better than I imagined. We were a family of 4, my husband, myself and my in-laws. The rooms are very beautiful, clean and have a unique character. The restaurant and bar are truly beautiful and convenient. Staff is exceptional and very helpful. We asked the owner if we could have breakfast at 8am instead of 9am, she immidiatley accepted and served us home-made breakfast on saturday and sunday. The food both breakfast and dinner were satisfying and good portions. I would recommend this inn because it feels like home.
