The best part of our breakfast was being greeted and served by Marina. She understands the assignment and aces it every time. Marina is a rare gem! The food itself was very delicious. We shall most positively be visiting and staying with The Crown and Anchor again.

Really friendly hosts who could not have done more for us. The location close to the stone circles in Avebury was a bonus, as we had originally intended just a stop over on the way back to London.

With a 2AA Rosettes restaurant and a bar, The Peppermill Town house Hotel & Restaurant is located in the heart of Devizes town centre. Delicious cooked breakfast with varied choices. So nice to have air conditioning and a little mini fridge. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent.

Everything about this place was wonderful, bed comfy, beautiful linen, lovely bathroom, food tasty and so much history. Staff were great. Pictures didn't do it justice, better than I imagined. Decor is so thoughtful and lots of lovely little interesting touches.

We were a family of 4, my husband, myself and my in-laws. The rooms are very beautiful, clean and have a unique character. The restaurant and bar are truly beautiful and convenient. Staff is exceptional and very helpful. We asked the owner if we could have breakfast at 8am instead of 9am, she immidiatley accepted and served us home-made breakfast on saturday and sunday. The food both breakfast and dinner were satisfying and good portions. I would recommend this inn because it feels like home.
