Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms inside the main building were large and well appointed. Although dinner and breakfast not included, these were reasonably priced and large, tasty portions. Should be a great location to see the Northern Lights just make sure you book a clear sky with your room ;)

Absolutely Fantastic . The best hotel in our stay in Iceland. The natural scenery around the hotel is breathtaking. The food from the restaurant is amazing ! You can leave the hotel and walk near the ocean in various beautiful trails . We had a great night sleep ! The famous black church is just a few steps away from the hotel.

Situated by the sea in the fishing village of Stykkisholmur, Hotel Stykkisholmur offers free Wi-Fi and brightly decorated rooms with a TV. Stykkisholms Golf Club is 100 metres away. We stayed in a suite, there was a private living and dinning room with a half bath and the bed room with a full bathroom off of it. There was a huge jacuzzi (4 people at least) and one of the largest showers I was ever in. The lighting is all adjustable (dimmable). The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good.
