Goofy name but rooms are clean and comfortable, top floor indoor/outdoor bath is fantastic, friendly English-speaking staff, etc. Top floor also has free massage chairs, free popsicles, and a manga lounge. Just outside train station but couldn’t hear any noise.

Featuring 4-star accommodation, Oyado Tsukiyo no Usagi is set in Izumo, 2.6 km from Inasa Beach and 500 metres from Shimane Museum of Ancient Izumo. The staff service was exceptional. This is definitely our favourite Ryokan. The bathing facilities are great, especially after long walks! Next time we are back in Izumo we will definitely book this hotel. Food is really good, for drinkers it's worth going for the unlimited deal.
