What didn't we like? Everything was great. From the staff to food and location. It feels so homely and calm. The view from our room was directing the lake and we could just sit hours on end, enjoying the view. The lady at the check-in/out was just delightful; very helpful (helped us plan our next day's trip toward fjords), open and super funny. :) We would love to stay longer and explore the surroundings.

Not far-away-very-cold-north, but another one - natural, wooden and cozy place. It's a bit of mountain guest house style. But this particular one house much more hotel-style place. Everything new, clean. Stylish. Very nice restaurant.

I miscalculated my driving time, so i was supposed to arrive at 1 a.m. The owner and i found a solution, so i was able to check-in even later, at 2 a.m. Nice family-style hotel, comfy beds, everything looks new, very clean, authentic, stunning vies from windows. Perharps the nicest breakfast i ever had (see photo). Close to famous Geiranger, also it is situated at the entrance of the national nature park.

Bart and Ellen were exceptionally hospitable and accommodating to our every need. It was a personal experience here - you could really feel their passion for what they are creating at this very special place. We really enjoyed getting to know Bart and Ellen a little bit - we were inspired by Bart’s travel adventures in particular. We travelled with 3 kids, who had an equally grand time. We did an ATV tour with Bart, which was a highlight. The food was lovely, and our cabin was clean, welcoming and comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to return to Villa Fregn again.

Questo hotel dal 1820 si trova appena fuori dall'autostrada E6, a 2 km a nord del centro di Dovre. Bellissima struttura; ben curata e tenuta dai proprietari (azienda familiare?), i quali cercano di soddisfare tutte le esigenze. Camera spaziosa e molto bella, pulita e con bagno (doccia) moderno e molto bello. Frigo e bollitore in camera, TV e Wi-Fi. Letto molto comodo. Ho visto che dietro la struttura c'è anche un campeggio, credo sia dello stesso albergo.
