It's definitely a splurge, but if you can afford it, it's worth it. The ocean view rooms, sound of the waves when falling asleep, big and comfy bed, huge showers and of course the people working there, everyone very helpful and friendly.

The distance is 2 hours drive away from La Paz and Los Cabos. Punta Pescadero is truly a remote paradise. All rooms face the ocean, with an amazing fresh breeze and sound of breaking waves all night long. There are two clean beaches, and wonderful rocks to explore with snorkeling and kayaks. The beaches are basically private to the hotel, as they're shared only with the 8 houses nearby. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Good free entertainment options at the hotel - billiard room, board games, corn hole, pool. The hotel was off the beaten track, but not hard to reach. Follow the paved road from Los Barriles to the small village of El Cardonal, then take the sandy dirt road for 10 km to the hotel. Our small compact rental car made it just fine.

Ventana Bay Resort is an eco-friendly property that has certified kiteboard instructors and kiteboard equipment to offer to its guests, plus scuba and snorkeling activities. It also offers a private beach area and Wi-Fi access for free. What can I say? my wife and I arrived as guests and left as friends. In all our travelling, we have never been treated with such genuine hospitality. From checking in to checking out, nothing could have been too much to ask. Tony, you are an incredible host, the simple but honest and professional care you provide all day long is invaluable. Nelly and the rest of the team is also what makes Ventana Bay Resort the jewel that it is. It was so great we had to extend our stay:). And so that other travelers can be aware: One has to open and close the front gate, carry their own paddleboard or kayak to the shore, help themselves at the bar and write down what they used and yet, this is what makes it home.

Very beautiful 3 bedroom condo with a large ocean view balcony. We cooked and ate at the condo. Propane grill on the balcony. Kitchen had everything you need to cook with. Stacked washer/dryer. The condo has beautiful landscaping, nice pool and was very quiet. Copala at Quivira is a combination of high rise condos and private homes. It is about 20 minutes from the Cabo San Lucas marina. We appreciated that there was a free shuttle that would take you around the resort. At a sister resort you can catch a bus to Pueblo Bonito Rosa ((free) and from there you can walk to the marina, downtown and the beach.

For guests with children, LC 1A- Beach Club & Housekeeping included - Golf Cart features kids pool. A private beach area is available on-site and both cycling and hiking can be enjoyed within close proximity of the accommodation. The property was beautiful and the house was perfect. Barbara and Manlio were incredibly responsive to all of my emails and offered me very helpful information about the area and activities. I highly recommend them as hosts.
