Dinner on the patio on our first night was magical, with ever-changing views of the clouds and hills as the sun set behind us. Our waiter, Matt, was a pure delight (as were all others during our stay). The food was spectacular. From the property, we set out on three hikes and one guided bike ride (shout out to George - he was amazing and a great coach!). Do not miss the gorgeous hike out to Devil's Bridge (the trailhead is a short drive away)! Start early - so peaceful. A bit challenging at the end, but so worth it! We also enjoyed the Trail House and talking to the knowledgeable staff.

The grounds and rooms are exceptional. It’s a unique venue in a beautiful location. The rooms aren’t just your standard hotel room, they really have a unique feel. A couple highlights - the complimentary waters, having a pool open 24hrs and the small box of goodies waiting in the room with a card to congratulate us on our anniversary.

Historic Tombstone is a 10 minute drive from the property I liked everything, because I’m a cowboy in mind and heart. I’ve stayed here before and will keep returning.

Featuring a 42-inch flat-screen TV with cable, each spacious room at the Casino del Sol Resort Tucson boasts luxury linens and gourmet tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms include a glass enclosed rain shower. It was the first time staying there. We were pleasantly surprised. The check in process was expedite. The restaurants offered a good variety of dishes to choose from. The Casino facilities are vast and clean. The covered parking is very convenient for this time of year. Definitely will come back.

This resort is on the White Mountain Trail System and is 3 miles from Pinetop. The resort offers a miniature golf course and suites with a fully equipped kitchen.

PVC at The Roundhouse Resort suites include a living room. The kitchens are equipped with a dish washer and microwave. The suites also have a washing machine and dryer. The cabin was very clean and organized. They provided everything we needed to stay and a few extras.

This resort in Sedona is a 30-minute drive to Out of Africa Wildlife Park. The resort features an outdoor pool with 2 jacuzzis and courtyard area with a fire pit.

The Red Agave Resort offers studio and 2-story apartments with views of Bell Rock. Both units feature a fully-equipped kitchen and small dining table. Free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen cable TV are also provided. This place was brilliant. Really didnt want to leave. The staff are a real credit as nothing to much trouble. So many little extras. S'mores over the fire at night (free of charge), table and chairs to sit around. The view was amazing. For me this was the best stay of our trip around America.

Set amongst citrus groves and exotic foliage and with the stunning backdrop of Camelback Mountain, this resort is a true oasis in the desert. Beautiful, luxurious resort that impresses from the moment you drive up. The Arcadia Villa was huge, super comfortable, and felt like basically renting a whole residence without a kitchen. Staff, other than the person who first checked us in, was very friendly and helpful.
