Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

100% is the location and the helpful staff. Rio is the first destination of my south American trip, I pick the hotel which is near the airport, easy for flight connection, every 20 mins, hotel shuttle bus service is perfect. Hotel is just round the corner of airport but in airport information centre suggest waiting for shuttle bus for safety. Staff is very patience and quite easy to get uber service to downtown.

SwitzerlandCorridors on the floor are pretty dirty and have no aircon: not really pleasant. Towels a bit old and could be replaced with newer ones. Bedsheets seem fresh, but mattress or mattress protector smelled of humidity. Restaurant's ambience is standard for breakfast, but it is a bit too "cafeteria / canteen" style for dinner. In general, staff not very "warm".
Close to the airport and free shuttle every 20 minutes. Room is large, double bed is very large, shower is nice and large. Breakfast is good, both variety and quality. Staff at check-in was friendly. We did not use, but the pool was just in front of our room window and seems nice.

FranceIn the room, the AC and mini fridge are VERY loud. So loud that I could barely sleep. And with the heat, turning them off wasn’t an option.
Great location near airport, very practical when you arrive late and don’t want to bother with a long car ride. Staff was very nice and served us past 10pm (when the kitchen closes). Much appreciated after a long flight!

CanadaNo restaurant or bar. If you are going to have bibles in the room, maybe you should also have material for all religions. This is the era of inclusivity not the 1950’s. Better yet, leave a small note in the room to say that any and all books of worship available at the front desk

GermanyThere is no path/ pavement for pedestrians to walk to/ from the hotel. You can only reach the hotel by the free shuttle service (it says "Linx" and runs every 20 minutes from the departure area, door D). There is nothing to see and to do around the hotel.
Good location, just a few minutes from/to the airport by shuttle bus; very friendly and helpful staff; great customer service (they let me check-in a few hours earlier, because my room was already made); clean, well-equipped room with air conditioning and a fridge to cool beverages; very good breakfast.
