Wifi connection was poor to non existent in our room. The location is not great - you need a car to visit Ouro Preto. The room was a bit small and didn't have much space to keep / hang clothes.

The swimming pools are great! The property in general is really pretty. Friendly and professional staff. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. The restaurant's cuisine is exceptionally good for a hotel.

There wasn't good storage in the rooms - just a few hangers to hang clothes. I would have liked a few drawers to put things in. The room quickly got messy because I couldn't put things away.

Great breakfast, I loved the artificial waterfall and pool - so refreshing. I loved too the 'beds' by the pool where you could relax. It was a very beautiful and relaxing place to be.

Our room had a weird smell probably due to the wood decoration above the bed. The little fridge in the room also made a lot of noise. Also, a bit far from the center if you don't have a car but you can easily find taxis.

The pools are the highlights of the hotel! The breakfast is also very good and varied. The staff was also very nice and accommodating.

The smell of dampness in some rooms we saw. We think this is probably unavoidable because of the climate. So no criticism there. There should be more staff in the restaurant who speak/ understand some other languages.

The staff were very helpful. The people at the reception changed our room twice to a third room we liked The people at the breakfast area and in the general service area were extremely helpful and very kind .

The mattresses were hard; I prefer a softer mattress. The TV could have been a bit bigger but we didn't watch it very often.

The location had the feeling of being remote but was just a few minutes drive from the city center. The view was lovely. The parking was plentiful. The breakfast was fresh with a good variety of options and I appreciated the staggard times to avoid overcrowding the dining room. The pool was nice and spacious with many seating/lounging options. The reception staff was very helpful as we asked several question. The game room was also nice. I enjoyed the Christmas decorations. The hotel room was spacious with a nice view.

The rooms were extremely humid and moist, so it affected my lungs. Beds were not too comfortable. We had trouble turning on hot water in the shower, but staff were helpful. Sauna was closed during the times when I wanted to use it (morning and evening).

The location is amazing, beautiful views, the pool is very nice. The breakfast was very good. Close to a local old mine you can visit. Staff were friendly.

The access from the city is quite difficult, be sure your car can climb some hills.

A little far from the city center and with an awkward way up. I recommend picking the alternative way through Rua Passa Dez instead of the google recommended Rua Manganês.

There is no Uber in the city. Instead, there is a similar service, but the app is not compatible to iPhones. I had to rely on the reception to call us a taxi every time we needed transportation. The beds are not so comfortable, but it did not disturb our sleep. The restaurant is good, but they do not know how to make cocktails. The nightly rate is too pricy.

The breakfast was fresh and had so many choices. Everything was delicious. The hotel is well maintained and very clean. The staff is professional, kind and very helpful. The place is very enjoyable and relaxing. I loved every minute of my say.

For someone whose main aim is to visit the city of Ouro Preto, this may not be a suitable accommodation as it is further from the city centre (30-40 mins by foot, 5-10 mins by car). However, it was suitable for my purposes and very relaxing. There is a strange smell in the rooms too - not sure what it is, but got used to it.

Good spread of food for breakfast. Staff was attentive and helpful - they gave many suggestions and advice to my questions on places of interest, local transport, safety within the city, etc. The ambience of the place was very tranquil, perfect for a getaway from the business of life and even from Ouro Preto. A good getaway location.

The location is not so convenient if you need to do your stuff in downtown

The pool was good and also the hot vapor cabin. One of the staff spoke English, which facilitated things for both them and us.
