Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe bed is soft and comfortable but the comforter was too heavy for the warmer weather so we were hot all night.. We asked for a lighter weight comforter but it didn't happen. Also, the lighting in the room is too low and not enough recessed lighting to light the whole room. The bathroom is small for two pp to share with only one sink. The shower is open which i can't stand as water goes all over the bathroom floor. Also, the shower fixture was impossible to aim.
The location is perfect. The room is very large. The terrace was the best thing about the property. We were on the 7th floor and had a huge terrace with a fire pit. We used it quite a bit and the view was beautiful. The bar/restaurant is very nice with excellent cocktails.

We stayed here for a few nights before relocating to the Chateau Frontenac for a wedding. Not only was it a much, much better value for the money, it was a superior hotel altogether. Clean and beautiful with thoughtful touches in a perfect location.

The Location is excellent for Old Quebec with easy access to everything of note. The Hotel is very well furnished with novel decor and a very comfortable bar area. the room was well-requipped and clean whilst the staff are fluent in English and French and very friendly and approachable.

United StatesParking is pricey and not a lot of place which should be mentioned because we ended up having to let our car in the city parking lot next to it (which is convenient and next to the hotel luckily) and to be honest if you leave the car there all day and don’t have to take it out, it is cheaper than the hotel! Not a deal breaker.
Love the decor, the location is fantastic, staff welcoming! The bed was very comfortable.

A delight to our senses. Visually stimulating with a great balance of design, whimsy, and functionality. Attention to details, providing place to sit near a warming fire to the small game /library area. Excellent location in the heart of old Quebec. We felt as though we were in Paris with Canadian sensibility. Would come again-and again.
