How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The location is excellent in being so near to the airport, with complimentary airport transfers till 10pm. Like it that it’s a serviced apartment with cooking facilities even though I did not use it for my one-night stay. Enjoyed the popular breakfast. Staff is friendly and kind. I highly recommend.

I was surprised and disappointed that there were no smart TVs. Any modern hotel should provide this.
The location is good if you are using the airport. Clean and comfortable facility with friendly staff.

The curtains wouldn’t pull in front of the window so it was light in the room. When we showed up, the staff informed me that my booking from booking.com did not go through even though I had confirmation and had booked a month in advance. The staff looked at me as if he wasn’t going to give me a room because they were fully booked. This hotel needs to sort itself out in terms of finding their bookings from 3rd parties, as I was not a happy customer at the time. They ended up having a cancellation and putting us in a room. The staff was helpful and kind the whole time.
Nice hotel, had everything you needed. The breakfast was great too, good variety. The bed was very cozy. Nice kitchen in case you’d like to cook.

Just one thing really was the food! I tried breakfast, dinner in the restaurant and room service and it was poor. It was quite expensive and not really worth the cost for the quality provided. There are however plenty of local restaurants nearby if you need to grab something for dinner. I'd recommend just making breakfast in your rooms kitchenette.
Beautiful hotel with lovely rooms. The attached kitchenette was very useful. Hotel was very clean and kept to a really high standard. I was very happy with the room, facilities and staff.

Bathroom could use some shelves and more hooks to hang up clothes, towels, etc., my room was on main floor and nearby the restaurant so I could hear people laughing & talking but once restaurant closed it was quiet

the Pet friendly services were excellent and well worth it. Having the external door is a big help. My dog was happy in the room.

I would have liked the restaurant open just a bit later or even a reduced menu after 10pm but I’m sure it is set that way for a reason.
This will be my first stay of many! The highlight were the shuttle drivers who were quick, beyond friendly and really helped ease my stress. The room was modern and clean with every amenity I could hope for provided. This property will be my go to everyone and I’d encourage anyone to try it. Shout out to Darren and Dennis for being fantastic!

Well run hotel. It's obvious the Management is experienced and know what they are doing. Cleanliness, kitchenette with 3/4 of normal size Fridge/freezer, excellent breakfast with vegetables and salad, very comfy beds, quiet location.

Loved everything
