No water bottles provided. No kettle for boiling water for tea. Very basic amenities and almost nil service. The hotel looked old and in need of real renovation and some upgradation.

The building needs a renovation. The bathrooms are too old as well. The bathtub we had in the room had a huge brown mark. It was not dirt, it was a damage due to being old. The building smells odd.

The location was amazing! You do not need a car. You can walk anywhere in DT. The pricing was great, very affordable.

-There was too much furniture in the room -Lots of scratches and bumps on the walls and floor -There was no plastic shower curtain liner, so the bathroom got soaked -The carpet in the hallway is loose -The vending machine by the elevator is radiating heat -The lamps were either not plugged in or the lightbulbs were loose

-The location -The bed was clean and comfortable -The shower pressure was amazing

It is very old hotel. The key is very sensitive that you have to change your key more often on your stay.

The cost is very affordable compare to other hotel. The location is very close to Chinatown and downtown and other remarkable spot to visit which make it easier for a tourist or traveller. The parking is free which will save you a lot. The staff are nice too.

Old smelly carpet, sink clog, Room really need an update. I booked for three but only two towels with one hand towel and one face cloth. TV not working, we need to ask for coffee for our second day. Hair Dryer , you need to press the on Botton on the wall with one hand while drying your hair ha ha..and dryer has a little air coming out..no need to dry hair ... otherwise it will take forever.

Location.. walking distance to downtown .. Empress Wharf & parliament area. Comfy bed, pillows ok.. Free parking lots of nearby restaurants.

We have to pay a damage deposit “ which should be returned to my credit card. I have not checked it yet!

The hotel is located in the center of everything. The beds are super comfortable! The hotel is not new but everything is clean. Would be great to have 2 towels per person. But it is me ;)

For two king beds it was super affordable and fit our family of 5 (2 adults, 2 teens & an infant).

Noted above, the door from the parkade into the hotel was physically broken. Not only did it offer NO security, but it left us with an overall uneasy feeling. Security has to be number one.

The gate keeper, James, was very organized and friendly. It's an older building, for sure, but clean. The man door from the parkade into the building was broken, and not secure. Security is always number one priority today. Security number one. Cleanliness number two. Overall comfort number three.

The Duvet was nice but there was no top sheet. Baseboard in the bathroom and whole bathroom needed attention The hand towel was not clean and needed to be exchanged.

No room service i.e. cleaning or resupply of coffee and tea during my six night stay. I had to put the rubbish bin outside the bedroom door to get it changed.

Good size room with King size bed. Bed linen was clean and bed comfortable. Bathroom and room in general was clean. For the budget price paid for my stay I would say very good value. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent and I would highly recommend as a place to stay for a few days with easy transportation links close by and for exploring Victoria by foot.

- the bathroom floors were dirty - the television needed to be reprogrammed by the front desk person - one of the outlets wasn't working, found out when our phones didn't charge - the desk lamp wasn't working and seemed be held in position with electrical tape. - our room was adjacent to a busy street and the traffic was noisy and people outside yelling at times.

We liked the bed, it was comfortable, the pillows were good, and the bedding made us feel cozy.

the room was very hot. manager stated that they hotel uses a boiler system and our thermostat in room did not function. we had to use the AC to keep temperatures lower

location was great. overall the value was good, a room for 200 dollars within walking distance of downtown core in victoria. basically what you would want, no frills, and if your priority is a cheaper hotel that you sleep in but not paying for luxury than this is the place. If you have champagne tastes dont book here.

Wasn't very clean. The carpet was very dirty, sticky stuff on the carpet. No slippers provided to deal with that. Cleanliness can be improved. No housekeeping over 4 days.

Spacious room, big bed, okay location, okay price, good enough for the price we paid for and enough just for the sake of sleeping in.

Facility was generally clean, but maintenance need upgrading. Can't fault the property but the security regarding the transient population downtown when travelling with a group of students becomes a concern.

Location to Save on Foods Center is unbeatable.
