Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

CanadaWhen checking in, it turned out that you need to pay an extra $65 for the dog, this needs to be indicated! Then there was not enough money on the card and we used the second card, as it turned out, the money was withdrawn from two cards and now we are waiting a week for the money back. The holiday was spoiled upon arrival.

Quiet, lovely property. Peaceful walks with nothing but the breeze, the birds singing and sun on your back ( some rain too but I was still grateful for the view and nature right outside my bedroom window. Thank you!

CanadaThe check-in clerk did not seem welcoming, however I understand that I checked in late. Had to walk around a lot to find vending machines. The lobby was outdated, could've been decorated a bit better.
The waitress at the restaurant was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The restaurant and bar hours were great. The bathroom was modern and spacious.

CanadaFor the price of the stay the space is a bit dear. The hotel is a dated and showing its age. Rooms and spaces look unclean but they are actually worn out. Hall carpets especially.
