The TV remotes were confusing and we were not able to figure them out. It wasn't that important to us or we would have asked for help; I'm sure we would have been helped!

We had a great stay at Jacque Cartier Motel. The room was very clean and comfortable and we got a bag of extras on arrival including treats and coffee. We were there for a soccer tournament at the university campus and the location was perfect - just around the corner - but also very close to town. The proprietor was great about adjusting our check out time to match our game schedule.

No wifi or AC but it wasn't really a problem when we were there. Kinna pricy but then everything in that area is insanely out of control and expensive. This was actually a value compared to other motels we stayed at.

Excellent overall. On-site owner-operators were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The whole site was pleasant and attractive, clean and comfortable.

Bath tub too low hard to get out of for someone with arthritis. Shower ok in bathtub but I like baths. Bed somewhat comfortable I could have used an extra blanket. Bed, toilet too low to sit on for an older person & hard to get up from with arthritic knees.

Cleanliness, very nice management & gave me extra sweets. Had a fridge, coffee & tea setup with ice brought in by management to room. Nice bathroom & pretty bedroom with 2 beds.

It was a very busy highway that you had to be very careful to get out on to.

We were welcomed with a couple of chocolate croissants. Everything was spotless. Close to Sydney downtown. Motel owners are a Russian couple and very friendly. She offered us a cup of coffee just before we left. Had a laundry.

Thé hosts of this motel were very friendly and helpfull with my husband and i: they offered accommodations for stroring our bicycles In there garage, and most of all , they dried our camping equipement ( We were cougth In a big shower and our tent was sock), while we were out doing an activity. Whatever à great surprise! Thank you very much😊

I did not mind that there are no restaurants or shops in walking distance. What was important for me being close to the airport.

Hosts very accommodating & going out of their way to please. Felt like being at home from home. I would come back any time.

The biggest complaint was the lack of outlets in the room. There was a kettle and fan atop the fridge and desk respectively although neither could be plugged in there! The ONLY spot was in the outlet on the nightstand and there was no space to use both at the same time. The sink was too small to fill the kettle - had to use the tub! having a kettle on the nightstand is inconvenient and dangerous. Why oh why wasn't there an extension cord with extra plugs by the fridge so the kettle and fan could be plugged in? Only one chair by the table to sit down and eat at, etc. Didn't appreciate the owner trying to upsell us on arrival by having us pay for a larger room when the price was already too high for the accommodation in my opinion. Would NOT recommend staying there.

You can hear the traffic on the road in the morning (it's very quiet overnight), so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper and you want to sleep in a bit.

Very clean and comfortable place to stay near Sidney. Good value, comfy bed, and the owners are super kind. I would stay here again.

Microwave in room', would have been easier, albeit there was one available in Laundry room, time for usage was limited to 8am till 10 or 11pm , NOT ENOUGH TO STOP ME FROM STAYING THERE AGAIN OR TO OTHERS WANTING TO STAY CENTRAL.

Cleanliness, Staff very accommodating know matter what the request, made the stay comfortable and convenient. Would definitely do a STAYCATION AGAIN,as location for myself and Fiancee as we both have AGED PARENTS, IT'S A MIDWAY POINT FOR US HAVING FAMILY IN BOTH GLACE BAY AND SYDNEY.

This is probably the best motel I've stayed in. The motel was renovated a few years ago so it looks very new and pretty, with no weird smoking smell (which many motels have). It has more of a B&B feel, as the owners take care of the property as an extension of their home (on premise). They were super friendly, very hospitable, making sure you have everything you need. During my stay I left the room late at 3pm, returning 3 hours later to find it was cleaned thoroughly. The room was spotless, and had everything I needed for the stay. Though the hotel is located right off a main road, it was super quite and I did not hear cars zooming by night. I'd definitely recommend this place.
