Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyPerfect location for a trip in the city! Very nice people at the reception who did everything to make you feel welcome! The appartement is well equipped and spacious for two couples. There is a lobby on the 3-d floor with patio where you can spend time. Eaton centre is across the street… many other highlights like Lawrence Market 15 min by foot away….

CanadaThe traffic around the location is difficult to manage but that has nothing to do with the hotel itself. Staff did their best to help us manage with minimal stress
The location was fantastic and the staff went above and beyond to make us welcome and comfortable

CanadaThat tv system was completely foreign to us. There were no written directions at all! Without several visits from the staff, we would not have been able to watch even locally provided channels. We never were able to watch movies or series. Neither of the 2 bathrooms (because of the pedestal sinks )had any space for toiletries.
The location was perfect. The bed was very comfortable and the appliances worked.

United StatesThere is no place to pull up to load/unload luggage except right on busy Yonge Street. Booking.com did not mention that there was daily housekeeping and no way to signal "Do not disturb." The listing also said "soundproof." Not even close! We were on the 10th floor (easy elevators) and routinely heard noise from Yonge Street below and there was a bell (old city hall clock tower I think) that rang every hour on the hour and more often at times. Noise volume was not typically loud but noticeable. Mechanical noises from within the building were more noticeable and persistent. Parking cost was typical of Toronto but added up. We did not park where hotel suggested, finding a somewhat less expensive option nearby. Apartment light switches were oddly placed but worked out once we got used to them.
The "suite" itself was large and well-furnished. It had a full kitchen with pans, dishes glassware, flatware etc. There was a washer and dryer in the suite. Having a second bathroom with a shower was handy although it was small and had no soap, shampoo, etc and very little surface or shelf space. Closet space was excellent. Location was convenient to many things with the subway literally just outside the hotel. Two sets of locked doors to gain entry. Worked with room key. Staff was helpful and friendly.

United KingdomThe suite was a little dark as it was a at the back of the building and overlooked by other buildings, but being at the back of the building meant it was quieter. So pros and cons.
Staff were very helpful. And it was was very good value for such a central location.

United StatesThe only downside was it is close to a major hospital with a helicopter pad on the roof. I only experienced it a few times during our stay, but it was startling the first time. That being said, it is a large city, so 24/7 noise is to be expected.
The employees were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is great. There is a mall directly across the street. There is a subway station directly in front of the apartments. When a taxi is preferred you can easily get one within minutes. There is a convenience store two buildings away. The apartment itself was spacious and very comfortable.

CanadaThe tv and the blinds were a bit difficult to work at the suite I was in, may have been nice to have a walk-through with that at check-in. Overall friendly staff and pleasant experience, just a bit expensive for a 3 star hotel.
Very convenient/central location, right by the conference I was attending, pet friendly and daily pet fee is not too bad compared to other similar hotel options. Pretty good overall, great business lounge area with outside patio.

CanadaFacility is older and feels a bit dated and worn. The sofabed in suite had strong mildew smell. I raised this issue and housekeeping looked into it but there wasn't much to do short of removing it. Furnishings need updating. That being said, the bed in bedroom was very comfortable
Location was fantastic. Suite was large and had everything we needed to feel at home. Staff was very personable.

United StatesWhen going to bed, there is a historic building next door and their floodlights to illuminate the dome of the building made it seem like it was daylight in the room. We just pulled the sheets above our heads.
We were greeted by Randy (the whole staff is incredible) and he did not miss a step to check us in. Incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and kind. He did not have a parking FOB for use. BUT he found one and immediately we paid for it and loved it! This place was so unexpected and hit all our wants for a place as this. No complaints and cant wait to return!
