Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomBreakfast was ok - reasonable variety, though some aspects such as pastries or even half reasonable bread were missing, which given how good swiss bakery is, was disappointing. Some rooms are very close to the restaurant (different to the breakfast restaurant), which might be disruptive - wasn't for me as the hotel was quiet when I stayed.
Close to Davos Platz and shops. 12 min walk to congress centre. For single traveller, room was fine. Checkin and out were very straightforward. Room was comfortable.

Overall a very nice hotel, clean and relaitely quiet. Shower etc are good, breakfast as well.

SwitzerlandWeirdly soft and plasticky mattress. Meat smell 24/7 in all hallways and also in the room from the restaurant. Breakfast is very basic (on the plus side they at least had plant based milk).
Nicely renovated rooms in a simple, functional design. Very friendly reception staff. Location close to the Platz Train Station.

SwitzerlandThe room smelled like someone had been smoking weed in there not long ago. I left the windows and doors open, this helped, but as the view is directly on the train tracks (and a graffiti of a woman flashing her breasts), I had to close everything to sleep at night, then the smell returned. Other than the passing trains, that stop for a moment at night, I could hear everything that was going on on the rooms next to mine and on the hallway.
