Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Chinathe executive suites are bit bad located. we had to walk over a rooftop area to get to the suite, no connection with covered corridor. inside the suite the floor was quite dirty and dusty, that we had to call service for cleaning. we got offered to change to another suite but situation in two other suites wasn’t very different. the executive lounge was also the lobby lounge. we expected to get some simple food for free in executive lounge like in other hotels but here were only beverages and a bowl of nuts available/free.
The staff was very polite, breakfast was very good. the food in lobby lounge was very good.

FranceThe changing room of the swimming pool needs a refresher, especially compared to the rest of the facilities. I wasnt a fan of the fish burger.
I liked the comfort of the bed, the size of the room, the friendliness of the staff, the swimming pool, the Wu restaurant, the garden and the quietness, and the breakfast.

Belgium- Lounge: Advertised on Radisson website, Booking and other, the Executive Lounge is actually not in use. (Cited reason: not enough customers) This meant that we had to go in the cold(!) lobby bar, where for the afternoon tea, when I asked if there was any snack other than cake for the afternoon tea, such as peanuts, I was given 1 plate of fried food (chicken, chicken and chicken) !!PER ROOM!!. Not knowing that this was my evening happy hour food, I accepted these snacks by the friendly staff, and thus when my wife arrived later for the evening happy hour, we were told there was nothing left to eat at all. After long conversations with the reception staff in charge (who, when I told him this was unacceptable for a 5 star Radiason Blu, told me this wasn’t really a 5 star…), he finally found someone to go make further fried chicken popcorn and a bowl of salad. (Quick note, the evening reception male staff was not once apologetic, didn’t try to make us feel welcome - in fact, we were obviously bothering him) Also, the super friendly female staff at the Lounge Bar couldn’t have been expected to know how to make cocktails, so other than good quality whiskies and a few other drinks served, nothing was really available. - Breakfast: The variety of food was less than subpar, very few pastries, basic “continental breakfast”. We were very disappointed with this “5 star” Radisson’s breakfast. It was also very cold. - Although the swimming pool looked clean and was at a good temperature, the changing rooms weren’t cleaned very often. There was dirty tissues on a counter before my swim, and it was still there after. Basically, this may not have been full season, but if a well known brand such as Radisson Blu advertises their 5 star RESORT hotel with all these amazing amenities, it should deliver. However, it doesn’t and I wouldn’t recommend this to any friends. I have lived in China for 10 years already, and have stayed in many cheaper and more expensive hotels.
It’s a beautiful building, feels very traditional with modern amenities in the rooms. The temperature of the swimming pool was perfect! Check in staff was super friendly and even could speak good English! Our Executive suite was beautiful and comfortable! Really loved the huge bathtub!
