Easy location. Stayed a few times now, the welcome from the lady who books you in is lovely, we always have a chat! Room clean,albeit furniture is a little tired. Tube 10 min walk away, quiet location with parking included.

My biggest disappointment was not paying for the room that was constantly shown and associated with my booking, i.e. one that showed a modern four-poster bed with drapes in a spacious room, wooden floors and bold red walls. I was looking forward to that experience. The room that I was assigned to was perfectly acceptable, but not what I expected, i.e. smaller with a predominantly grey colour scheme and no four-poster. The tog rating of the duvet was rather too hot for my liking. There was a noise, possibly associated with the underfloor heating, that interrupted sleep somewhat. There were hooks over the main door, but not the traditional hanging wardrobe with shelves for clothes.

The room was very clean, modern, well maintained with lots of details thought about. The house was set behind but visible from the shops lining the main high street, so traffic noise was not an issue. There was a complimentary bottle of spring water, a range of hot drinks and biscuits, secure lockable double-glazed windows, which you could open to allow fresh air in, and a huge range of television channels including Netflix. There was a clear notice on the back of the door giving one the password for free WiFi. I liked having a work desk with comfortable upright chair.

The access path was narrow and uneven. The stairs to the room are not easy if you have a large case or if you have mobility issues.

It was quiet when we stayed. Spacious room. Attentive staff. Nice, clean, modern look.

sadly the restaurant was closed and I did not receive the instrutions on how to find the hotel untial after we arrived as it is nit that easy to see from the HIgh street. Apart from that the hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly.

A shame the restaurant attached to the building was not open, probably would have had a meal there after our journey.

Room was very clean and spacious, facilities just right for short stay. Location excellent for access to High Street, yet quiet as it's set back from the road. Parking space definitely useful for the area. Would be happy to book again.

Everything was excellent.
