We had a problem getting the key from the key safe as there were two and we were trying the wrong one

This caravan was very clean and comfortable. Everything worked well and was just what we needed for a 3 night stay

Parking....the site rules, not caravan owners but beware. Can not park near to caravan and not alowed to park on grass and side roads jammed full of cars. The larger car park was also packed and quite a walk to caravan. If you have mobility issues, please be mindful of this.

Lovely clean well equipped caravan. Very comfortable. Pit washing and cleaning products provided. Nice linen on beds. Once lit gas fire kept main area warm and warm air heaters in bedroom were adequate. 10 mins to beach and regular bus at end of road to Ingoldmells and Skegness. Do visit the Trunch lane cafe, fabulous value and friendly hard working staff.

on arrival, the caravan has two possible key holders as we found out, you are looking for the left side of the front door. When you enter, it is very tidy and has everything you need for your stay with extra items that make it feel homely. Once you settle in, there are a couple of things we will make you aware of. 1. the caravan was either pre-owned by a smoker or leased as a smokers caravan previously(we actually didn't know this until we settled the kids down and closed the doors at night) The noise is understandable as it's a holiday park but the noise every half hour from the bus stop, which is a couple of caravans down, goes until midnight may distrub some people. We chose to leave after one night when we had booked and paid for 3 nights. The positive for the van is that there are a few bars& takeaways a few mins away and a very short walk to the beach. If you walk along to the left (15 mins), there is The Admiral Benbow(worth a visit), which then leads to an award winning chip shop. The caravan has a basic mattress in the main bedroom(one you purchase similar to a memory foam topper) the kids found their beds uncomfortable too...only lovely bedroom was the single one with sprung mattress to the left which unfortunately was the one which had the stagnant smell of old smokers. We did make the owners aware once we had left, which they then said they had never had any previous complaints and it was a superior van(maybe different sites have standards of superior)

a couple of bars and takeaways close by. close to bus stops if you need them. easy walk to the centre of Chapel St Leonards. lovely outside area with chairs&table. every essential item that you could need with homely extras.
