Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

KenyaIt would be great if they can have somewhere to hang the towels, since the rooms are quite small
The staff were very helpful, from the cleaning ladies to the front desk managers. The room was also very clean.

United KingdomYou can't help the location. It's just worth thinking about if you are a single person using public transport to get there late at night, due to it being surrounded by industrial estates (very quiet at night) and not served by closeby 24hr transport. It's a small consideration considering how good everything else is.
Breakfast was really flavoursome and good value. The property and facilities exceeded my expectation so will definitely seek to return in the future.

IrelandA bit of a walk to the nearest tube, but actually a few options available - so as long as you're happy with the walk it's not bad!
Great value option in north west London. Friendly staff, good breakfast, clean rooms! Rooms are basic, but comfortable. - and everything I needed. Big TV!

United KingdomI drive a lot in London but even I got caught out. I was tired, desperate to get booked in. Approaching the hotel from the north, guided by the sat nav, it's easy to see, but you cannot turn right at the lights. Makes some sense. So I turned around to approach from the south and turned in to the side road. It turns out that this is a no LEFT turn junction as well! You find yourself in a bus lane for 30 yards before you can turn into the hotel. I am waiting for the fine to drop through the door. There are several cameras watching. It seems you have to follow the main road south and enter a long one way system via Whitby Avenue, as far as I can tell.
Its a slightly quirky place but that's mostly good. The staff were fully helpful, there's a pleasant bar/cafe on the ground floor, which has things available 24 hours. The room was modern and had unlimited hot water immediately available. My room was a kind of studio flat with a sink, a microwave and a fridge. Not really any utensils, but they were probably available if required. The fridge was my favourite item! There is parking for four or five cars behind the hotel, but there is more, apparently, one minute away. It costs £15 on an QR code for overnight parking.

United KingdomThe air con in the room didn't work, and the window wouldn't open. Staff sent someone up straight away to fix the window, but the air con still wouldn't work, but the room was fine once the window was open. Not much parking, but there is free parking spaces about 5 min walk away.
Nice clean room, friendly staff and great breakfast.

United KingdomThe only negative thing I have to say is that the room was quite bright even with the blinds shut so I’d recommend taking a sleeping mask if you wake easily with natural light.
Brilliant receptionist, room very clean and tidy with comfortable beds. For its location it was also very quiet.

United KingdomNot sure, really. I was pleased with the hotel! I didn't like the single quilt but then we all prefer our own!
We had a kitchenette but no plates or cutlery. When we asked we were given what we needed with no fuss. The staff were very amenable. Taxi was booked, additional coffee, we ordered a takeaway and this was assisted. Really good.

United KingdomThe location isn't great - a light industry area, and the canal in a really poor state, so a local walk wasn't much fun.
The cafe! It was a proper caff! ... And there's a bar! If we had been there later on in the day I would certainly have had a tipple.

United StatesThe odd lay out getting to the room. We took the lift up to second floor down some stairs out a door to short hallway through another door to second floor stair landing through another door than another to see at end of hallway our room up 4 more very steep stairs that had no hand rail. They need to put a hand rail in. Other than that the room was great
How clean it was and how big the room was
