I cannot think of one negative thing

We were absolutely blown away by how beautiful the property and the home was right from the start. We pulled in and with some helpful directions mentioned in advance from the host, we found the place right away. Being there felt like we were in a movie or something, it is SO quiet and serene. We were met immediately by Marsaili, who was BEYOND nice and accommodating, we were made to feel like a part of the family right away. The house and our room/bathroom were perfectly taken care of and we just couldn't get over how gorgeous the whole property and home was. The cat, Lucy, was adorable and cuddly and is still one of my highlights of my trip for me, such a sweetheart! Our time here was too short at only two nights, I wanted to move in and stay forever! We didn't eat any food because of scheduling conflicts with traveling early in the morning etc. but her dining room was set up to perfection and the most AMAZING view out of the windows and I am sure the food was delicious. This was our favorite stay by far out of our 3 week UK + Ireland adventure, it was flawless. Thank you so much to Marsaili for hosting us and making our trip so special!

Wonderful host with excellent insider tips (e.g. hiking trail from Farigaig, Falls of Foyer, Glen Moray Distillery, Culloden Battlefield, River House in Inverness). Room furnished with great attention to detail and delicious breakfast. The house is in a quiet location and the way there offers many photo stops. Thank you for the unforgettable stay!

Absolutely nothing. It was exactly as we wanted.

Our host, Marsalli is delightful. She made sure we were completely comfortable and felt at home while there. She was helpful with adjusting sight-seeing trips according to the forecast and greeted us every night to check how everything went for us. 10 out 10 would recommend and rebook!!

Everything was perfect right down to the host who was lovely, and had loads of local knowledge including dining recommendations! The room was open plan with a freestanding bath and decorated beautifully. Breakfast was amazing, fresh tasty food cooked perfectly. We also got little bottles of prosecco in our room which was a lovely touch for our anniversary, it was a perfect little romantic getaway. I would love to go back again and would recommend staying here 100%.

It is about a 20 min drive to Inverness for dinner. It wasn’t an issue for us, but if I get to visit again, I would plan my visit for a night when the Dores Inn was open for dinner for at least one night.

Our room was beautiful, the location was close to many places we wanted to see, and Marsaili was a wonderful host.

The only thing we were less keen on was the fact that the toilet was only screened from the rest of the room rather than being behind a proper door.

The welcome we received was lovely, especially the offer to bring freshly brewed coffee to our room on arrival. The room itself was large and beautifully furnishished with a lovely statement bath. Breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choice.
