"Rafters" at Althea House was a perfect location for a stay in Padstow, in a quiet spot but just a short stroll away from the centre. It was comfortable, spotlessly clean, the kitchen was very well equipped and, marvellous for Padstow, there is a designated parking space. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent all round! Beautiful property, bright & welcoming with lovely fixtures & fittings. Absolutely everything needed for a perfect stay & parking, in the middle of Padstow, was such a bonus.

I cannot think of anything not to like.

The apartment is ideally situated in Padstow in a quiet street, five minutes easy walk to the town centre. Parking is off road in a private area at the rear. Although quite small, it was exceptionally well equipped and comfortable and good use was made of every space. The option of having both a bath and spacious shower is an added bonus.

Really good location as the harbour and shops are a few minutes walk down the road. The property was really nice and clean and the owners have done a great job at making it feel cosy.

Everything about the property was great! Very clean, good location, parking…. It had everything you could wish for, perfect for couples. Some lovely little touches - welcome pack of milk, biscuits, fudge and quality toiletries in the bathroom. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Padstow if available.

Beautiful cottage which was maintained to a very high standard . Within walking distance of Padstow . Good off road parking Very Comfortable / very clean The owners provided lovely little touches milk in fridge Cornwall treats etc We were also upgraded with no extra charge

Just a perfect little place to stay. So cozy but plenty of space. Beautifully appointed in a tasteful seaside theme. Awesome bedlinen. Would love to come back in winter and hunker down. Location was spot on.

only criticism from the parents was the church bells - although this was after joking that having a cemetery next door makes the best neighbours - nice and quiet, however, the church bells went off really loudly but not a lot you can do about that - we could hear them from where we were staying!

My parents actually stayed - I booked for them. They are difficult to please! so I was a dreading it a little - old school British, love a moan about everything . They loved it phew! They've only stayed in private host accommodation once before and it was dreadful ( i booked that one!) as was really unclean and crumbling walls etc. so wanted to stay in a hotel. They loved it and said the beds were comfy and I have to say we paid around £100 more to stay at St Pedrocs - Rick Stein, up the road and wish we could have swapped! ours was not great , so we will personally stay here again rather than Rick Steins.

The price was high. In north Devon, we paid a similar amount for a similarly high quality, great location property that was twice the size.

A beautiful little apartment, in an ideal location, with a parking space. It doesn't get much better!

Perfect location. Close to harbour and shops. Parking space included. Spotlessly clean and perfect for a couples break. We were a little gutted to only be stopping the one night! Should we return again to Padstow, we will make sure to re-book!

Comfortable, clean and cosy with everything you could possibly need. So close to the Harbour but peaceful and away from the crowds. Private parking is a great bonus. On our arrival day the host texted us as soon as the apartment had been serviced to offer it ahead of the allocated arrival time and was really nice and friendly.

Perfect property in an excellent location, being a short walk from the town harbour, shops, pubs and restaurants. Accommodation is very comfortable and well equipped with off-road parking for our family car. We had some simple questions for Neil, the host, which were answered promptly and professionally. All round great 5 night stay.
