Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

Australiathe drain plug in the bathtub (which combo'ed as a shower) was broken and could not be unblocked, meaning water was building up. I had to pry open the plug myself as the supervisors didn't understand the urgency nor the nature of the problem. In the end i managed to sort the problem out but it took two days.

IndiaNo one is around to ask for help. I checked in late evening. I was unable to open the door correctly. So, the lady on the helpline was kind. But she couldn't help me online. I was thinking i will have to go and look for another hotel now. Luckily, another occupant was just entering. I asked his help. Then it was smooth. Other than this initial glitch, my entire stay was uneventful and pleasant

Everything about this property throughout our stay was awesome. We are a young family and the host was superb in communication, prompt in response and fixing any issues (though we little or non). We got a free late check out, but eventually paid for extra hours and it was quite cheap. I'll definitely recommend this property and will stay again.

AustraliaThe apartment needs to be more regularly maintained and properly cleaned. We were unable to shower on the day we arrived after a 20-plus hour flight as the plug hole was blocked with built-up hair and grime. There were other minor issues, such as the light bulb in the 2nd room needing to be replaced and the kitchen sink not cleaned properly prior to arrival.
The location of the apartment was great, and the apartment was comfortable. Staff were responsive to addressing any issues, such as difficulties with initially accessing the apartment with the lock system.

Bangladesh1) I requested a proper bath mat a few times, since my parents (the guests) were staying for almost a month and I was assured that we would be provided one but on the moving-in date, I was told that the standard one that was provided was just a small towel. 2) On day 1, we realised that the freezer door would not close properly and the freezer had defrosted. This issue was fixed but one of the drawers could not be put back in place for the remainder of the stay. My parents could not confidently use the freezer as there was a huge amount of ice build-up all the time. The fridge light didn't work. It was a very old fridge-freezer unit with rusted hinges. 3) There was a glass sheet next to the hob that shattered suddenly when my parents tried to wipe water from it (it was not hit or dropped). It was replaced and nobody was injured but this was a bit of a shock for all of us. 4) On Day 3, we found out that the washing machine was not working. My parents clothes even got stuck inside. The handyman informed us that the washing machine had to be replaced. My parents had to hand-wash most of their clothes for the remainder of the trip. We were offered two £25 vouchers at a laundry service (but only after I pointed out that a working washing machine was part of the description when I booked the place). This service was via an app and was a rather new system for all of us, especially my parents, who do not have access to such apps in their country. As a result, we ended up getting charged around £51, instead of getting a discount! We were offered further refunds of around £125 but overall, this caused a lot of stress, for my parents who wanted to enjoy their first ever visit to the UK and for me and my partner (we were working full-time and about to get married!). The washing machine was replaced in the final week of their stay but there were further issues which had to be solved. 5) The second bedroom could not be used for wedding guests, as the door wouldn't close.
It was a nice, relatively comfortable apartment (well-lit, stable internal temperature) in a relatively convenient location. It had more-or-less everything that you may need for a short or long stay. The hosts were generally helpful, prompt and courteous.
