The attic was very comfortable and felt like we were in our own area of the house. Tea and coffee making facilities and easy access to the shared bathroom. Host was welcoming.

The room was quite cold on the evening, we think this is due to a velux window with a broken vent at the top (we were provided with two duvets and a blanket). Stairs are steep but this is to be expected when booking an attic room. a small electric space heater may solve the temperature.

Very cozy room with comfortable bed. Nice offer of coffee and milk provided with the room. It's in a good location probably 5-10 mins from both the Zoo and the city centre itself. Very kind owner who showed us to our room. Its in a quiet place with kerbside parking.

Stairs are very steep into the attic and headroom is very limited. Alot of clutter in room which I felt was unnecessary and could be removed. Electrical items in room are on several extension cables which is probably not ideal from a safety perspective, but didn't spoil our stay.

Very handy for town centre, racecourse and zoo. Quiet area and other residents in house were quiet and respectful. Helpful and friendly host downstairs providing information as required.

Shared bathroom. Access to Attic room could have been quite an issue for some people. For us it sort of added to its charm.

V comfy bed. Interesting shabby chic decor. Quaint. For some reason we thought that this might be a proper room. Be under no illusion, when it says "an attic room" that is exactly what you are going to get.

Shared bathroom, room small due to lots of furniture and bit cluttered.. (Didn't have the attic room) Fine for my 1 night stay.

Easy to walk to from Bache station. Quite location. Bed was very comfy. Drinks in room. Nice dressing gown. Host was friendly and helpful, gave us an early morning lift into chester. Thank you!

There was nothing I disliked about my stay at the Attic Room.

I really liked the location close to a large supermarket and railway station. The room was quite unique for myself as I had never stayed in an attic before. It was beautifully furnished and the bed was very comfy. The owner was very friendly and her pet husky and ginger cat are the most adorable pets imaginable.

It was unusually cold overnight for April and there didn't seem to be any heating (though I would have asked Chris if I was staying longer). Although I don't mind sharing the bathroom, its a bit of a palaver to get down to the toilet at night.

Quirky room. Really liked the view out of the velux window across the roofs. Having a microwave and fridge was really helpful. The house is in a quiet part of chester but only a 25 minute walk (or very short train journey) from the town centre. Pub, train stations, chippy and supermarket all very handy. Chris was very welcoming and helpful. Although there were a few other people staying there, it was quiet; and even though the bathroom was shared with 2 or 3 other rooms, I never had to wait to use it.

Difficult to navigate the tight staircase (even when sober) which meant using the toilet facilities was a challenge during the night. The abundance of Knick knacks was not to my taste but at least an effort was made to make it homely

Quirky. Great location. Exceptional value for money for the location. 20 minute walk from town. Room well equipped everything you needed to prep for a night out, for example mirrors. Hostess is so lovely and gave us a lift into town and even offered to pick us up.

Location was only 5 minutes from Chester Zoo (my reason for travelling). Temperature in room was comfrotable. Bed was very comfortable. Access to Sky Q and a large TV. Access to Wifi. Large shared Bathroom. Friendly, sociable host, would recommend to other guests.

I didn't like anything. The house was creepy . As soon as I saw the house I was concerned. Inside was creepy . I was taken to the loft , deathtrap stairs . The loft itself wasn't dirty but you'd bang your head on the roof getting out of bed. I was told other men had rooms. The shared bathroom was horrible. I didn't feel safe. I wasn't in the house 10 minutes I left and booked a central hotel. Maybe just me but it reminded me of Fred West house I just had to get out.

The tv wasn’t working in the room and going up the stairs up to the lift was very dangerous didnt have any handle to grip when going up the stairs

The lady who was hosting us was very rude. We accidentally had to extend our stay due to our late arrival of our cab. She asked for 10 pounds extra in cash, rudely.

The Room was very cosy and comfortable especially the beds, and the host was very friendly. The value for money was excellent and the communication was great. You can't ask for more it was perfect for our 1 night stay! could of easily stayed for more
