We stayed 3 nights and it was perfect. It was a lovely home, comfortable beds and lovely linen. Lot's of extra touches left by the host eg cream teas, breakfast supplies and a bottle of wine. Good contact with the host prior to arrival. Would highly recommend.

The street is very narrow so parking is a bit tricky as there is only room for one car to get through. Cars are parked on both sides. The stairs are very steep.

The house was very spacious, comfy and had everything we needed for nearly a week’s stay. The owner supplied us with lots of food items and even made us fresh scones complete with clotted cream and jam on our arrival. There were fresh flowers in the rooms and beach towels if we needed them. The house would be fabulous for a family as there were toys, games and books and baby items such as a high chair (which we didn’t need!). Highly recommend this fabulous house.

    Leaving.

A lovely light, airy and comfortable house in the perfect location for both the seafront and the town. Great welcome gifts to ease you into your break after the drive to this wonderful part of Cornwall. Less than 5 minutes to the promenade, 1 mile walk to Newlyn, 10 minutes walk past the town gardens into Penzance centre. Fab rooms, fittings, furniture, shower and attention to details.

    Nothing!

The property was so clean and cosy and fully stocked with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The hosts provide very helpful recommendations for restaurants and things to do. On arrival, there were scones, jam, clotted cream, milk, bread, eggs and butter and even a bottle of wine provided, which were most appreciated after a long journey! The location is great - short walk along the sea to the centre of Penzance one way and Newlyn in the other direction. Mousehole and Marazion/St Michael's Mount also walking distance, or short bus ride away. We would most definitely recommend this place to anyone considering a trip to Cornwall.

This has to be one of the very best places I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. The house is totally as described; spacious, by the seaside and incredibly homely. The house has been so tastefully and beautifully put together. There are original features a-plenty but this is balanced with lovely modern touches. Natalie and Scott have left no stone unturned for their guests. They have thought of absolutely everything. The kitchen is really well stocked, the lounge has lots of books, DVDs, board games and brochures with local information. The bedrooms are large and inviting and the bedding, beds and pillows are out of this world. We slept so well! The house has some lovely local art work and even a piano so we enjoyed rustily finding things to play from the sheet music provided. Then there are the extras! Where to start - I am bound to miss some things. We were treated to eggs, butter, biscuits, a bottle of wine, milk and even a full cream tea which we thoroughly enjoyed. Jam First of course!! Communication throughout was excellent and everything was absolutely top notch. We can’t wait to turn to this utter gem in one of our favourite places.

Street parking was tight, but we were always able to find a spot.

The home was a great location to the town, waterfront, and promenade. Comfortable and attractive accommodations with a full kitchen with everything you could need! The host provided unexpected snacks and promptly answered any questions. She also provided a helpful notebook with information about nearby attractions and home instructions.

Very friendly owners, who even provided some food and drinks and a lovely written welcome card, amazing hospitality, we immediately felt home. Lovely interior, well equipped and clean location. Quiet but narrow street, to park a large car or SUV may be a challenge, but it is possible to easily park such wide cars in a surrounding street. Short walks to restaurants and centre of the city. Well located to discover the beautiful south, west and north coast of Cornwall. Definitely a place to come back.

Very nice touch that the owner left complementary basics and treats such as wine, scones, jam, cream, eggs, butter and milk. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend. One of the best places we have stayed. Thank you, Natalie!

Everything was fine 😉, nothing to complain!!!

It was self catering but Natalie & Scott left a fabulous starter kit which included all the necessary things to start with, like scones, clotted cream and jam, tea, coffee, milk, bread & butter, wine and so much more 😋. Natalie even left four lovely beach towels and a beach bag for the two of us and the overall information & communication was fabulous!!! Altogether we loved the space and the tastefull decoration of the place and it’s well situated. There is even a washer & dryer if needed. Hopefully we’ll be back by next year!!!

Natalie & Scott were the perfect hosts, and always available to answer any questions we had. They were kind enough to leave us a few treats, and made the check-in and check-out process so easy and stress-free. We visited as a group of friends for a long anticipated catch up weekend, and by the end of the first night we were already plotting our return with our families in the future. We're all local to the area, but staying here made us feel like we were on a proper holiday - with everything we needed close to hand. Hard to imagine staying anywhere else the next time we're in PZ.

Nothing at all. Who would complain about this proprety? I cannot imagine.

Everything! The house itself - spacious, clean, lovely interior, and each facilities are all high standard. On top of that, the owner's consideration and hospitality were amazing. They gave us very good amount of information prior to our arrival, welcoming us with variety of necessities. I cannot say thank you enough to them! And the location was excellent too. Very close to the promnade, supermarkets and restaurants - all are just round the corner. We have never stayed at such a great accommodation, and would love to come back and stay again, definitely longer next time! If you are still not sure, I strongly recommend and am 150% sure you won't regret by choosing this property.

The cottage is ideally suited: close to the beach, the train station and the bus station. We arrived at the cottage tired and hungry, with the dreaded thought of going shopping for food. To our great surprise, our hostess had left, among other things, eggs, butter, bread, Cornish scones, jam and clotted cream. That evening, we had scrambled eggs for dinner and we drank a great bottle of wine, also provided by Natalie our host. The thoughtful gestures are all over this house. Sparkling clean, beautifully ironed bed linens, soft fluffy towels, as well as a well prepared book which Natalie provided and which helped take the stress out of trying to figure out how appliances work, etc., all designed to help ensure a stress free holiday. We had an amazing week here, thanks in no small part to our host. The icing on the cake is Cornwall, which has some of the most spectacular scenery we have ever seen, all accessible for a $20.00 initial cost which allows one to travel anywhere in Cornwall! We highly recommend this property and our dream is to return some day!
