Clean room, but the real benefit of this hotel is the amazing breakfast!! Absolutely amazing. I love it! Also the staff there is so kind, we arrived a bit early but they had no problem giving us a room.

The Guest house & Room was very clean & tidy. The bed was so comfortable, best sleep I've had away from home. The Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was the best we both have had anywhere we have stayed previously over the years. Porridge with Whiskey, honey and cream drizzled over was superb and something we have never had before. We both agree better than probably most of hotels we have stayed In, Definitely would stay again. 😁👍

The rooms are in an typical restored townhouse, 20 mins on foot from the centre and a few steps away from the tram stop. Very well connected both with the centre and the coast. A lot of attention to detail has been put into the rooms deco. Our room was not very large, but had enough space for two people to be comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and big. The breakfast á la carte was the cherry on the cake (the porridge and the pancakes are heavenly!). Lovely and friendly staff, always up for a nice chat.

There was no rubbish bin in the room, and request for more tea/coffee supply was poor. I feel this could be provided to take away in the mornings to stock up.

If I had to say anything it would be that everything is at least a 20 min walk away, but as a young couple in our 20’s this wasn’t really a problem at all

Everything! The room while on the slightly smaller side it was so cozy!(and very clean)The shower/toilet however was huge!! & such friendly staff, especially Ollie, who made us feel like nothing was too much trouble and he was really personable with all the guests staying at the time not just us so it made for a really comfortable/family feel stay!! The breakfast in the morning was so nice and made for a nice Scottish experience (if you get the oats or the full Scottish) we where doing Arthur’s seat one morning and was full up for our hike and hours after haha, will be telling any friends/family heading up to Edinburgh to stay here as I will definitely be back if I’m ever up them ways again :)

Everything was brilliant! Only small comment was that the shower didn’t have any handles so was a small risk for my grandpa, however for able travellers this wouldn’t be an issue!

Lovely room with fab little bathroom, travelled with my grandpa and he loved it too, comfy beds and had a great sleep! Breakfast was AMAZING! Very happy and we were FULL! Ready for the day, thank you 🙏 staff were lovely

Our stay was amazing. The accommodation is close to the city centre (main attractions) and everyone was really nice and welcoming. The room has everything you need and it is very clean. The breakfast was very tasty. The hospitality was unreal, we even got a bag with food to go when we left for the airport as we had to leave before the breakfast started.

Couple if hairs in the towels, and one at breakfast. However, staff response was great no issues swapping it out. Window didn't seem to open, so occasionally room felt a little stuffy.

Ideal location, handy for shops and tourist locations. Perfect for the Playhouse (5 min walk). Staff were lovely, including a courtesy call pre arriving. Breakfast was great, porridge with whisky and honey is a must try! Responsiveness from staff with any issues was also really good.
