The breakfast could have been better, but it is very good value for the money. there is a possibility to order a cooked, warm breakfast for extra money. There is no lift in the property, so you have to use stairs, but it was not a problem for us. There is no parking in the hotel, but you can park very close in the public train station parking (9,5 pounds per day).

The hotel is in the perfect location, next to the train station and in the city center (walking distance to all sight), you need to take bus to het to the university campus. The room was clean and comfortable, there was enought space, the staff was very nice. The hotel is in a historical building, the dinnig room is very nice.

Steep stairs to get in. Hadn't realised it wasn't on suite, should have paid more attention when booking.

Due to the excellent location you will hear and feel each time a train passes until early morning, however if you are a heavy sleeper or just don't mind this hotel is perfect.

The location was excellent for my stay as it is literally at the front entrance to the railway station. The room itself is quite spacious, however I did have a family room for a solo stay, but even then it would of been comfortable as a group

The room (Room 10) was up several flights of steps. Neither of the the 'bathrooms' had a bath. My room had no armchair so I was forced to descend the stairs to find an armchair in the bar. As I was at the hotel for one night, I paid for the 'small' cooked breakfast. I would have preferred that the baked beans could have been optionally swapped for black pudding.

The hotel was a few steps away from the railway station. My visit involved finding the location of a talk being held in the city. The hotel staff helped, by supplying me with a map of the city centre.

Shared faculties were fine but one of them without window was like the hot house at Kew Gardens - nice after a long walk but a bit jarring at 3am.

Located right next to Nottingham station which was excellent. Bar / breakfast area was very cool. Staff also super helpful and food was as expected. Recommend

Was expecting a bistro restaurant, but had to go out to eat

We were expecting some noise because of the location, but the Tesco's delivery lorry at 4:30 am was quite loud (hotel is next to a Tesco Express). I would use this hotel again if I needed a short stay and access to the railway station, but not if a good night's sleep were essential.

The hotel is just opposite the railway station, so the location is excellent. We needed this for a one-night stay while spending just a morning in Nottingham before onward travel. The room was very nice: spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a good continental breakfast.
