How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment. Parking was super easy to find on a quiet street, the building and communal hallways are immaculate, the apartment itself was so much bigger than expected, super clean and modern with everything you could need. Beds were very comfy and the shower was excellent. The area is nice and quiet with a few cafes and restaurants just round the corner. We stayed her while attending a concert at the stadium of light in Sunderland, this was an easy commute using an Uber which seemed reasonable for £20. I would definitely stay here again when visiting the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Clear to see that the owner takes a lot of pride in these apartments and it shows!

Honestly nothing could have been better for what we needed. Nice walk into town also, which was great.
Great host who kept you informed of all checkin procedures 24hrs before arrival and departure was smooth and again kept updated via emails with everything we needed. The actual accommodation is fantastic and as explained

All nearby parking is permit only but only one permit is provided for property. We were two couples arriving separately but luckily managed to get second car parked on main road a few minutes walk away.
Beautiful apartment, good location within easy walking distance of Town centre and Ouseburn.

There was nothing not to like.
Very bright, well laid out with plenty of room. Beds were very comfortable, everyone slept very well. Well equipped kitchen with large fridge freezer. Large walk in shower. The flat was comfortable at the temperature, and timings, we didn’t need to boost heat at all. Information booklet was well laid out and highlighted some things in the surrounding area worth visiting. The coded entry system was fantastic, and secure… no misplaced keys/cards/fobs.

Everything was there that you needed. It was very clean and beds very comfy. We loved the posters in the hall. Furniture was all modern and fresh. Communication with the host was friendly via email.

It was all good.
Highly recommend. A lovely property, very quiet and comfortable. Great location, like Jesmond used to be 😊 Nice little places to eat 2 minutes walk. Opposite the start of the Dene for running or walks. We will definitely stay here again.

Everything! From start to finish loft three was absolutely perfect. The check in process was awesome, I loved the way you could just get yourself into the building with such an easy, independent check in process, meaning no matter what time you arrive you won’t have any additional pressure for checking in with someone! I also found, for someone like me, with anxiety, this process made me feel very at ease and calm knowing I’d have just myself to worry about and not get anxious over having to meet new people. The apartment itself was everything I wanted and more, the interior design was GORGEOUS and it quite literally felt like home from home. I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone if you are considering staying here, I just wish I could have stayed longer!

Everything was fine, nothing to complain about.
The loft was clean, cozy and comfortable. It had all we needed to feel like we were at home. The location was quiet and the apartment soundproof. We loved everything about it.

Minor niggle is that the large Tv is a sony bravia which does not really support google play apps e.g. BBC iplayer or ITVx. Ok if you have a an ipad and know about apple airplay !
Location was ideal for Newcastle city centre and access to University. Easy to find and parking good. Apartment clean , well appointed.

The WiFi went down during my stay.
