Only complaint was it was difficult to get back in after the doors were shut - we had to ring the bell 5 times ( once we’d found it )

Great location, quirky wallpaper in our room was really lovely. You get complimentary gin and tonic in the room which was a lovely surprise to start our night out.

The staff at this location were amazing helpful kind and always smiling. They went above and beyond. I was in a room over the function room room 203, the party went on till 12 it was like being in a disco a teenage event both Friday and Saturday . I was fuming as I had just lost my mother and wanted a quiet night, the window nearly fell out ( it’s an old beautiful building) but the staff were so accommodating, the beds so comfy, the afternoon tea divine and the spa and treatments luxurious thank you to all the staff or u would not have paid. Well done lovely workers

Shower in spa wasn’t working pool was freezing cold.

Offered a free upgrade to a deluxe room on arrival room was beautiful bed was super comfy. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Restaurant meal was excellent as was breakfast. Spa treatment was lovely

No key notes here, it was a very lovely stay. My only niggle is to encourage the hotel to provide additional training for the restaurant staff; who may need to watch reception, whilst the receptionist is away from the desk.

Beautiful building, excellent location!! Staff were lovely and attentive; particularly Scarlett(In joke with receptionist) whose customer service was wonderful and certainly set the tone for our stay! The Spa, although on the smaller side, was a welcome hide away from the hustle and bustle above!

Was not warned to book spa as early as possible so when booked it couldn’t get a slot I wanted that fitted with day couldn’t use the spa for very long - very strict with access so wasn’t great

The room could have been revamped. Paint peeling from the bathroom, shower head wasn’t that clean, orange grout, stains all over the carpet
