Bar open times not abide to, closed earlier than times stated. Restaurant only open 7.30pm till 9pm, too late for anyone to wait for tea. Paid for a room with a window room only had a skylight you couldn't even see out of.

On checking into the hotel was greeted by a member of reception staff who from the word go was very rude and obnoxious. On arrival he asked for my passport and also my 13 year old sons passport. When I told him we did not have them and didn't know we would need them. His response was yes you did it is hotel policy to produce your passport. He did not want to listen to anything anyone had to say he was very rude to all customers checking in at the time.

The hotel room was of a good size and a good standard, shame about the size of the TV on the wall.

When trying to check in 4 youths were before me and they were refused there room and rightly so for being too young. Then it all kicked off screens broken glass broken and chairs thrown. It was a very intimidating experience security and police arrived I managed to get checked in an hour later and not as much as an apology or anything. Must have been scary for staff also but once the owner arrived you’d expect and apology. Room was clean bit cold and a lot of noise from outside could be heard all night from room. Also we had a man running through corridors naked day/night from hell.

    Great location

we paid less than £30 each between a group of 6, it was cheap and cheerful! Easy to check in, rooms were a little outdated but very clean and had a nice tv, teas/coffees and large bathroom! Can’t complain at all! Went for a night out and was a good comfy bed to have a nights sleep before going again the next day!

how it took half an hour from when we arrived to get checked in, there should be two types of check-ins, 1 for prebooked people and 1 for people who are paying on the day. they also ask for several details that aren’t needed that after waiting half an hour you’re getting irritated by.

the location was incredible and the decor is really nice

Basic standard of decoration. Needs a keener eye for upkeep. The only real negative is the constant smell of cannabis and cigarette smoke despite my room being in a non smoking section.

Didn't like that there wasn't a window in our room , the fan was broken in our room, the plug sockets weren't near the bed they're on the other side of the room.

Was close to where I needed to be so it was worth it for that. Close to the train station and close to the ao arena

The lifts could do with some maintenance work. The time the lift doors stayed open was quite short and the button to open the doors was seemingly not working. More lights in the bedroom would have been good as it was quite dark with only one main light in the room. The room could also benefit from more conventional plug sockets nearer the bed for charging purposes.

Mostly good with a few caveats.

the room was absolutely boiling, with or without the fan in our room on, the room didn’t have a big light - we had to use lamps the whole time which was okay because my friend doesn’t like big lights but we needed them at night, and the lamps were very dim. one of our key cards didn’t work after a few uses. beds were quite firm and pillows weren’t all that comfy.

    the location was nice
