The first floor room I was in was a little noisy, but expected that with location. Did not keep me from sleeping and ear plugs were also provided.

Location was brilliant. Very handy to everything. Staff were great. Comfy bed. Freebies were appreciated. A range of breakfasts available. Have already recommended to friends and would definitely stay again.

It is so central to everything and the decor of the rooms was just gorgeous and they were spotlessly clean. Breakfast the next morning was delicious with a huge range to choose from

The lighting in our room (5) was too poor for reading books which was a shame!

The hotel was clean, comfortable and in the centre of town. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the food at the adjacent pub was excellent.

A very small detail: the tea could have been hotter at breakfast. And there was no Worcestershires sauce! But the cooked breakfast and porridge was delicious none the less!

One problem was that the room was very hot which meant we had to sleep with the windows open. Could not turn down the radiators This was slightly problematic as it opened onto busy street below so we were woken early by street noises The other complaint was that the bed was very firm. My be partner hardly slept due to this.

The shower had a slight issue where it didn’t turn on and off very well and got stuck. Other than that it was great.

I like it had a coffee counter and it was bang in the centre. The beds were super comfortable with soft linen. It was very well decorated and styled.

Our bed was very noisy and there was a big rip in the mesh curtain but other than that the room was lovely!

The women who checked us in was so friendly and welcoming. She seemed to be there for long hours so maybe she was the manager or owner. The breakfast was delicious and in such a cute cafe style room. I also loved the pub next door, very cosy atmosphere.

One small thing ,that happens in a lot of hotels. Why is there never a plug point by the mirror so that you can use the hairdryer whilst being able to see what you are doing?

Nothing however breakfast service was a bit hectic as there was only one member of staff dealing with the entire complement of rooms at once. Her efforts were above and beyond admirable but she didn't have enough hands.

Honestly the only thing we could think of was the room as a little too warm on a night but we did have a fan so it was fine.

We loved our stay! The staff couldn't of been nicer, breakfast was amazing, the hotel was beautiful and the location was perfect.

Our only complaint would be that the towel rail which heated the bathroom didn't work, leaving it very cold. Our room faced the street and was on the first floor, so there was some inevitable street noise, solved easily with ear plugs.

Gorgeous room, with plenty of space and very nicely furnished. The bed was very comfortable, the towels good and fluffy. Excellent staff, friendly and keen to help.

The breakfast was very good. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately those who slept at the front of the hotel were affected by the noise in the street and didn’t have a good night’s sleep but it was the Christmas period.
