The uneven floors and the step in my room, as well as no proper hand wash in the bathroom.

The decorative style looks and feels very homely and tge staff were very nice.

Unfortunately there was a computer glitch involving the security system so no door and room key available. The hotel emphasises environmental support but in the bath room there was no hand soap in bar or lotion form. I had to keep breaking open plastic sachets of product.

Cd player wasn't working in the TV unit, tv remotes are a bit outdated.

floor was creeky in places but thats part of the parcel and charm for an old tudor style building

the room was easy to find, the on-suite bathroom shower was easy to use, had spare pillows, a fan if needed and spare blanket in the cuboard, also came with a lovely cooked breakfast and they could add more stuff to the "tea and coffee" tray in the room if you asked at reception. also center of town was a 10min walk or they had a bus stop not to far from the hotel.

The staff without a doubt the hotel asset. Always friendly always willing to help super nice at breakfast. In my case also accommodating a slightly late checkout because of the entry into the local 1/2 marathon.

Room a little dated but very clean . Excellent Breakfast included in the price. Management and Staff fantastic couldn't do enough for us. Location is Perfect for an easy stroll into Chester city Centre 15 minutes. Will definitely use again

The shower was dated and made a rather loud noise. A blue light attached to the sockets made the room abit bright of an evening

Parking is not great - spaces are very small and if one car does not park correctly it wipes out several spaces. Expect to park on the road
