There is not one thing that could have been better at Broomfields!

The accommodation was very clean and homely, and they are lovely hosts. Breakfast was amazing and the location was beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The bed was also really comfy!

We had assumed, incorrectly, that there would be the option of an evening meal. If you have a car this is no problem but as we cycled it was an extra 6 mile round trip to find food (but really excellent restaurant in St Boswells)

Wonderful continental breakfast. Plenty of fresh fruit. Delicious smoothie. Cooked breakfast available. Quiet location and garden beautiful. Martin our host was so friendly and nothing too much trouble. Will definitely stay again!

Our warm, hospitable hosts made us feel welcome and at home. Our room and the house were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. The expansive garden and the sweeping views from the house were gorgeous. Great breakfast, and the fire in the hearth every evening and morning was cozy. Loved our time there and hope to return. Highly recommend!

The table sharing may not work for everyone but what a fine table it was .

Breakfast was a first class dining experience. Host went out of his way to cater for my dietary problems. Great selection of healthy, uncooked food. Coffee was the best quality & locally roasted. We shared a table with other guests which, in our case worked well.

We were given a very warm reception at Broomfields Country House, with tea and shortbread served to us in the delightful garden with splendid views of the surrounding countryside. Our host Martin was friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and we made use of an attractive lounge to imbibe a wee dram (courtesy of Broomfields) before bed. Breakfast was good. The property is in a good location, close to Melrose.

Wonderful bed and breakfast. Martin was a charming host with plenty of local knowledge to share. Comfy bed and a great night's sleep. Delicious breakfast that definitely fortified us for a day of hiking. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Broomfield Country House is situated in a beautuful location. The owners are warm and friendly and ensure that you have a perfect stay. Their house is spotlessly clean. The garden bedroom is peaceful and secluded. On arrival, tea and shortbread served in the lovely garden was a welcome treat. The breakfast was amazing with an excellent selection of delicious food served in a cosy dining room complete with log fire. We would highly recommend this property.
