I can't really complain too much as it was so cheap and got what we needed it was just abit dirty and the beds were not comftable but to be fair we were on a drinking weekend we just wanted a bed and a shower

It wasn't the best but you get what you pay for. Rooms and beds were messy and uncomfortable but at that price we kind of expected it. The showers were clean and nice. We just needed a bed and a shower so it done the job but don't expect anything luxury with this place

The "kitchen" was a room with two tables, a microwave, a mini fridge and a kettle. Gests have to wash the Only cup and Two cutlery in the shared bathroom that was always dirty smelly and the door didn't close properly neither locked

The guy was nice enough to give me an upgrade to a private room, the room itself wasn't bad at all

Dirt on walls, shower was the only way of getting hot water. If you share a room then you need more pliiows. Shower cubicle in need of new sealant, it was black.

really unhygienic and no breakfast given as promised in the deal. Rooms and linen are very smelly as if they haven’t been washed even once. Room is messed up. Fridge was so dirty and everything in it was expired.

The shower was dirty. cobwebs in shower room no toilet paper in toilet in the morning kitchen was dirty, fridge was dirty no staff on reception in the morning had to get key from Premier shop to access the hostel Hostel smelled strongly of smoke although it was non smoking entrance to hostel hard to find parking hard to find

Some of the people who were staying at the hostel... it was an honest mistake as the staff member gave me the front door and room code and said "its the bed that is made up" and I didnt want to turn the lights on at 2am and waker everyone and got in someone elses bed!... I had someone come back from a night-shift at 5 am demanded I show him my booking on my phone, my room and hotel codes and when I did, he kept threatening me telling me to leave the room and then the hotel... he was drunk and aggressive and wasnt from the u.k and kept telling me "I'm the king of this hotel and i say who stays here and that I'm (he) honestly racist and I don't like English people" and I kept telling him "you're foreign, and I'm foreign we're both men of colour and I didnt understand what the problem was", then the police were called... but didn't show up! Got turfed out and walked the streets for a few hours... and returned the next day and got my room changed. This time I'm with a guy who's drunk smoking in the kitchen and passed out so had to wake him and help him into bed! The next day I meet a really nice guy who heard about the whole thing and showed me and proceeded to say "he wouldn't mess with me, look at this massive blade I keep under the pillow!!! 😳 Thank God he was on my side! 😂 Look, I've been here before and never had a problem... but if you have to, book a room with less beds/people as some characters here are SERIOUSLY shady! I'd prefer to spend a bit more next time and stay alive then witness what I did this time around!!! And I'm not not saying it was the "King of the hotel" but I got jumped on the second day and police were useless to help! And as there is no staff overnight, a drunk guy smoking in a carpeted room, passing out might mean if I WAS asleep and didn't hear him fall and groan...

Honestly, the staff member who also ran the shop downstairs... always a top bloke when I visit! And meeting others in the dorms from all over the world!

Everything. The bathroom bin never got emptied. Only one shower for the females. All bathrooms smelt like urine. They didn’t know who was where or when people were meant to be checking out. No security, no key given and door was never locked.

The description in the online advert was deceptive. I was expecting a 3 people shared room, but I was surprised to found out that I will be sharing room with 8 others... imaging a small room with 9 occupants... 3 bunk beds with 3 layers. Also, my checked in time was 12:30, I got there around 12:10 I was told the room won't be available till 2pm, I told them where do they expect me to stay till 2pm, the said I could hang around or go to the nearby library. I've been calling them when approaching Newcatles to inform them of my itinerary, but no one answered the calls.... so bad and unprofessional.

Nothing except for the neatnes of the receiption and hallways, because I couldn't stayed, I had to look for another better options and paid. So the money paid here was wasted.

The beds were terrible. Was scared the bunk was going to collapse, also it didn’t matter which way you slept, you would sink so far into the bed it became unbearable
