Comfort of the beds lacking, rooms extremely hot and no air coming in / out due to no windows. Very loud at night as well, can't be helped given there is a bar downstairs.

Great location. You get what you pay for, beds not overly comfy and other guests around the place but can't expect less for what you pay. Would visit again for the purpose of the trip.

Beds were the worst I’ve ever slept on, springs stab you in the back. I had already paid on Booking dot com but, they tried invoicing me again.

The access using the app could be a problem, not having a staff around too. The room was ok, but the toilet wasn't that clean and the shower was really annoying as needed to be pressing all the time, as the water just run for few seconds.

Toilet and shower facilities were limited in number for numbers of guests, and filthy (from misuse, but look like only cleaned once a day). Underbed storage space meant accessing property could only be done by disturbing other guests. Above a club, so noisy until about 3am.

Location excellent - close to train station, and right in heart of the city. Price affordable. Receptionist was helpful when dealing with enquiries.

Bathrooms weren't that great - toilet seat broken, showers mouldy etc. Door locks worked via app were initally fiddly but worked OK in the end (and you can always ask for physical key card. Reception isn't manned all day let alone 24-7. As in any hostel with shared rooms, your experience will greatly depend on who you are sharing with (and how loudly they snore). Noise from street and bar downstairs was definitely noticeable...

Location excellent, right in the city centre, a couple of minutes from the Principality Stadium. Bunks were clean and reasonably comfortable

It’s the concept of Hostels , not your hostel in particular. It served its purpose for me but neither you or I can control the behaviour of other guests. Inconsiderate, noisy, poor hygiene. Not your fault.

Expectations were low, given its description and photos; before getting there, getting hold of the key was nigh on impossible, and the phone ws never answered - fortunately there was someone on reception who was very capable and I had my key card in next to no time.

The key system itself is a bit annoying. If your phone battery dies, you're stuck, as you are emailed your key to use as contactless access via your phone. No actual keys or key cards. There was also nobody at the reception kiosk / window when I arrived initially, when I got back late after the gig, or in the morning when I left.

The location in city centre was brilliant for my nights plans at Clwb Ifor Bach, and the price for a Saturday night, I can't fault at all. The lady at the bar also explained how the key system worked for me as I'd never stayed here before.

New method of checking in. I am a technophobe and there is no way that I will stay there again, as I do not use a mobile phone all the time and I would need someone to show me how to check in.

It has always been the first place I try to stay at, because of the price I can afford.

Nobody there, it was written that the réception was opened untill 2p.m. I arrived around 1:30p.m. And Nobody was there. Also the system to open the doors is not very good. Sometimes it takes a few minutes to charge the app and if you come to the hostel without battery on your phone Forget to enter… you will sleep outside. No toilet paper, dirty showers and we were only 2 girls in the room so it’s not like there are a lot of people that uses it. It is just not clean.

The only positive thing: the location. Is in the city center, but please be careful if you go by night there are bizarre people anywhere around.

After dropping my things for the afternoon, I decided not to come back and book something else. I understood the comments by seeing by myself what they meant. It smells weird in the sanitary areas. 2 wet showers and 2 toilets for 20 people. I wasn't feeling safe. Especially with the rumors about bed bugs around there. I booked something more expensive 8 minutes away and had the best time of my life!

The bathroom was not very clean and the hall had a weird smell. I didn´t see places where people could socialise and eat meals inside the hostel. Not enough bathrooms and shovers in the room.

It was located in the city centre and close to tourist places. The check-in and check-out process was easy. Many plugs to connect to charge the phone. And the female room had private bathrooms.

It was really loud, there is a bar/club under the female dormitory. Also, there are flashing lights changing colors directly at the windows. If you want to sleep a minimum, bring earplugs and a sleeping mask!

The place is perfect, in central city center, a few minutes walk to the Castle.

The showers were not good or private enough, there was no reception after a certain time, and you could only get in with a virtual key. I did not get a card for the toilet room either.

Not much space to put your bags and the locker/cage were quite useless. Not allowed to bring outside food to eat. No kitchen or common area.

I liked the location of the hostel. Easy access to all the stores and transportation. My two nights stay here I found all the bathrooms and toilets clean.
