Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomThe style of the building, inside and out. The warm welcome at reception and the friendliness of the staff through out the whole of our stay. The room was bigger than expected and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Rooftop bar was really nice and had a great view and staff very friendly and welcoming. Loved everything about this hotel and have already recommended it. It is our intention to stay here again next year.

The hotel is in a great and convenient location, right by the tube and bus stations. The room was also very spacious and had great amenities.

Great location for watching the Marathon, Tower Bridge, Sky Garden, Spitalfields Market and a great selection of bars and restaurants as well as easy access to the Tube and the DLR. United KingdomThe canopy hotel really is the best hotel not only is it in a great location but the staff go above and beyond!! This was mine and my partners second time of staying at the canopy. Prior to arrival the hotel were aware that myself and my partner were on a trip for our anniversary when we arrived we had been given a lovely complimentary upgrade and our room had been decorated with heart balloons and petals. We were also kindly given a bottle of Prosecco and a cake with a nice card. These gestures made our stay extra special. I had requested late checkout and this was available on our day of departure so we didn't need to rush to leave. Thankyou again for the most loveliest and memorable stay. I really cannot recommend the canopy more and we will definitely be back again!!

United KingdomExcellent overall....only small issue was maybe shoud have option of extra soft thinner pillows on bed. My neck hurts on chunky pillows and that disturbed my sleep a little..my husband however had a beautiful sleep .
