The bathroom had quite a lovely bath but also a small quite dated looking cubicle shower as opposed to a newer style walk in shower and there were water stains all around the outside of the shower door on the tiles which wasn’t aesthetically pleasing. Television was very small compared to the exec room and if it stays this size should be placed more central rather than to the far corner of the room.

Room was lovely and big and had a nice seating area. Was given vip extras on arrival having upgraded my room which was nice.

Room - some aspects of the room needed updating. The window was dirty and the bottom of the window needed replacing. Bathroom - good sized shower and separate bath tub but needed grout cleaning more in and around the shower and the shower door needed cleaning better.

Location - great location and able to easily access attractions such as the castle and city centre. Around a 30 minute walk to Cardiff Bay. Access to the spa facilities made it a nice extra touch to the stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was pretty quiet considering the location.

Air conditioning wasn't working , could do with upgraded TVs so that you could cast your own movies etc to the TV . And could do with hot chocolate as well as tea and coffee

The walls allow sounds from adjacent room to disturb sleep. Whoever was in there was clearly enjoying themsleves but it kept waking us!! Not sure what you can do about it.

Fridge in room wasn’t working. No toilet brush in ensuite bathroom.

Receptionist was fluent Welsh speaker and very welcoming. Location was great. Parking convenient but fairly pricey despite discounted rate.

No parking and car park across the road was very expensive. No slippers.. There are not enough pillows in the bed. Probably could put a few spares in.

Good location. Close to Central Cardiff and easy walking locations.. Easy access. Nice and clean. Free coffee and tea in the room. The room was a good size. Showers were really nice and there was plenty of water pressure.. Nice hot and cold water. Gym facilities...

Noise from the clubs opposite front of hotel. Sauna is better than a steam room.

The only thing that was “wrong” is that my AC/heater unit didn’t turn on/off at all but staff were notified for future maintenance.

I enjoyed everything about it. Great location (if you enjoy the walking). Still very close to city centre and everything you need is around the corner. Clean, and well lit. Very trust worthy and friendly staff.

Our room was ok but the set up a little strange with the hall door opening almost straight on to the bed. The bed itself however was comfortable.

Location was great and the breakfast terrific with a hugh selection.Swimming pool was marvellous. All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Dafyd at the reception.

Breakfast was bland & we were offered tea&coffee as we were seated, yet it never came despite others after us receiving theirs. No parking is unfortunate, we booked a space with Just Park in a car park 5min walk away - was half the price of the one opposite the hotel.

City centre Location was great, rooms were attractive, clean & comfortable. I had a treatment in the spa which was one of the best I’ve ever had, lovely spa facilities too. Staff were friendly & nice cocktails in the bar.

The bed in our room was on castors so did move in the night which meant our pillows fell down the back. The bathroom tap had pink and yellow stuff around the faucet which might have been limescale but looked quite unpleasant also no toothpaste etc provided in the bathroom which you’d expect in a hotel of this class.

The room felt like it needed a refresh - the interior feels a little 'tired'. The seat of the chair at the desk/ mirror was badly stained. The net curtains looked dusty. Generally I feel the hotel needs a refurb and refresh but it's very central and very clean in terms of bedding/bathroom so is perfectly acceptable for a flying visit.

Perfectly acceptable level of hotel for business purposes.
